I was wondering what the best online cooperative multiplayer game is? I dont necessarily mean new, i mean fun.. it can be as old as duke3d or older, but perferrably run on winpx somehow... im hoping to get some gaming going with my friend online.. any of you have any fond memories of such games?

swat 4 is co-op and alot of fun...so is hidden and dangerous saber squadron and joint operations. Alien swarm (http://www.blackcatgames.com/swarm/) Ut2k4 mod, very very good. Theres also another version in development for Source. Sven Coop (http://www.svencoop.com/) Hl1 only atm. Sorce version in development. Guildwars (http://www.guildwars.com) MMO. No monthly fees.

I never really played Enemy Territory before but how is the coop in that game? Can you go trough levels together? For coop games i recommend. Diablo II Rune (with coop patch) Unreal Tournament (with monster hunt mod)
