Aye, if you're a fan of BC2 .. I see no reason (weak hardware aside) that you wouldn't like BF3. They're that similar.

It does get laggy at times, but the netcode is nothing like BC2, as stuff actually hits where you aim now. You also really can't compare the guns to BC2 at all; there's a lot more kickback and like I said, stuff hits where you aim now.
I can't comment on how it looks for you, but for me it looks fantastic; better than Crysis 2 did. Everything at ultra w/ 4xMSAA, no post AA (fuck yea!), HBAO on. Obviously I've got a pretty good setup, but it's still not the very top of the line by any means. Just for the record, Cat 11.10 actually gave me about 15% more FPS, went from high 30's to mid 40's outside on Metro; inside it's between 55-60. I'll probably lower some setting somewhere to get FPS above 50 everywhere, but it's perfectly stable as it is. No drops, fluctuates up and down by about 5 FPS.
If this is how BC2 handled, then please, by all means, give me your fucking config, because I wish BC2 was this accurate.
Edit: I'm sure it looks shit on lower settings btw, guess it doesn't scale very well.
