wait.....haven't preordered yet, the beta is Metro? same map as the alpha? I thought it was going to be caspian. Oh well waiting 2 days isnt too bad then, didnt really enjoy that map in the alpha

Before I updated to the latest driver for my 5870, the game would launch fine but won't let me play due to outdated driver.
After deleting every trace of ATI, and downloading the latest driver it simply refuses to launch the game at all.
The fuck is this?

save your money, RO2 is probably the biggest purchase I regret this year. |
I agree. So many bugs it's not acceptable to release ganme in such a state. It can become pretty good in a months time or so.

Just you. Hit Quick Match a few times, rather than picking a server yourself. Also, use the filter system. 
Final thoughts for now, after an hour or so play:
The UI is absolutely awful. Ignoring the fact that you can't bind mouse buttons (it's a beta, so...), having the option screen available only to those players who are actually alive is the dumbest idea ever. Hell, I couldn't even quit out without Deploying first. Hopefully they'll correct that for the final, but it is EA. 
Graphics are... okay. Turning off motion blur and HBAO (or whatever it is), plus the post-processing AA, it looks a little nicer than BC2. The animations and humans are where the most noticable improvements are.
Battlelog is stupid. Firefox was using 200+ meg system resources, and, tbh, they could've just copied Steam's server browser and it would've done a better job. Whilst that is personal preference, though, the fact is Battelog is just a BF3 oriented Facebook-style site with a server browser. I don't care what ribbons my friends got, so I hate it already. 
Gameplay is pretty good. Mostly played on the outside Metro map, so getting sniped is a bitch, but it's enjoyable enough. Rush was never my favourite game-mode, though, so I'm a little underwhelmed.

I disagree. I actually enjoy RO2 a lot more than this beta. But each to their own. I cancelled my 22.49EUR Origin preorder and waiting for cheap $10 russian key instead...

Any help with origin please.
It will not start at all. Just gives me Origin.exe -Entry point not found.
The procedure entry point ??1critical_section@concurrency@@QAE@XZ ciould not be located in the dynamic link library MSVCR100.dll
So of course I searched, but found nothing specific to origin. Tried downloading the dll file and put it in origin folder, sys32 folder, and some other. Tried installing visual package 2010, and reinstalling origin many times, but still, everytime the same error.
Sig too big. -Nothing is too big for Fedor. Expect a nasty armbar.
