Exactly, if it wasn't for people who fought without reason, like a few characters on this board, war wouldn't exist.
But because of people like that, wars get started and even sensible people get drawn into conflict when their lives get threatened,

the poor always want what the rich have.
so poor countries with over population and a grim future, will always try to take from other countries. unless there is no way they could win, then there will never be war.

eh rather the opposite. the rich countries exploit the poor. they take their recourses and lend them money so the can buy back some of the recourses put into merchandize. and then they have to pay back loans and give more and more recourses until there is no way out. just like it is today for maaaaaaaaaaany countries.

Exactly, they go to war, or fund anothers war, to get access to their resources, and if they can't find a reason to do this, they make one up.

Fighting for your country is one thing
Fighting for an idiot president so that he can make some money out of an
already poor country, and place that country in debt for the next three decades
is another thing. The first I might be persuaded to do, considering I was
provided sufficient alcohol and firepower. The latter would be a good reason to
see the Canadian wildlife for a few years, as an extended vacation that lasted
until the idiot was removed from office.
Besides, if the idiot wants me to fight to get "nucular weapons out of Iraq", he might as well learn to pronounce what he wants me to fight for. My sig applies to the man perfectly.
