Edit: Oh, and I simply love the Severance-ish art style, especially the armors and some of the weapons. It feels like I'm playing with Sargon in another game. Fucking A!

And the award for the most consolized game of the year goes to: The Cursed Crusade
Quick time events everywhere, 100% designed for gamepad, extreme linearity...I never asked for this
The combat is brutal and (sometimes) even quite rewarding (thanks to the various combos), but sadly it really feels like a budget title, just like the First Templar (which I hated). I'll play it for some more time, but I'm definitely not impressed so far. :/
Yep , I gave it a second chance but it's simply mediocre..buggy , clunky .. I love the setting tho. Gonna play it some more , but Im not sure Im going to finish it.
First impression is pretty bad.
Game starts off too cutscene heavy (boring cutscenes at that) and the combat seems clunky and unresponsive. Graphics are ok for a budget title I guess..
Might give it another go when I'm really bored but it definitely didn't draw me in in the beginning.

sorry but a broken ass game that explains to me that IT IS A GAME and talks to you like you where a idiot , even points to me ... I was in a impression I played a StarTrek holograph episode where your character is trapped in some virtual simulation then a game about some cursed relic
plain text explaining is OK but when the main character talks to you breaking the Fourth Wall in a awkward Japan style its LULZ... like the second mission when the commander points to the barricade and then uses his second hand and points it also to the barricade ITS LULZ MATERIAL RIGHT THERE it was like i was playing a Monty Python game [ its 18:00 on my video ]
*shrugs* So gesturing towards a barricade with both hands is "lulz" material? Fair enough, your loss, not mine. I'm enjoying the game immensely. It really must suck to be a joyless empty husk
I thought it would be a good game when i saw the videos a while back, but this game is really weak, had to uninstall, this time not even the interest for the game´s setting helped >.<
I keep getting butchered in Chapter 3 part 1... the enemies keep on coming and literally curb stop me and my useless cannon fodder forces. Do the enemies respawn or something? Do we need to keep going forward??
1 and 2 are still amazing.

A friend tried that part in god mode and apparently you need to just survive and advance. That's the point I reached too and after a few tries I decided it's time for a break so I don't really know myself what to do there.

Well at least its good to know its not just me. The spike in difficulty is just plain silly which really pisses me off and yet the "aaaah" Denz croaks out when he dies makes me and at the same time.
That part is that hard because of the amazingly low durability of the weapons. It would have been nicer to have the durability system work like in Severance where your weapon/shield would lose from its health only if you would block with it.

Hmm...surprisingly good game, at least on normal controller (Dualshock 3). Much better than the First Templar.
If only Witcher 2 had sword mechanics this good.
