It will be. It'll be superb, you'll feel one with your character as he/she feels one with the force. And their gay partner.
Then you'll reach level cap.
You start another character. There may be a different starting area, so new story. Until you get to a familiar area. Then...
Then you're doing what you did before.
Don't get me wrong, I have already preordered the game, and I will probably enjoy it. But, like the 2 single player games before it, once you've played them, you know more or less what's going to happen. At least with those games, you only pay once.
I suppose you could choose to not be gay the next playthrough...

Revolutionary? You surely must be joking. Everything about it is a WoW clone. There is nothing innovative or revolutionary about the game. Trust me, I played the beta and am still in it, although it's down as they prepare for a new build. The story is pretty good, as I really enjoyed the Imperial Operative, but the combat, mechanics, hell, even the graphics are almost identical to WoW. Granted, it will probably sell well and the story is the one thing it has going, but everything else about it is so 2005 ish. I was sadly disappointed that they didn't try to do anything to improve upon the system that WoW improved upon with EQ for the most part.
Although I really had no interest in it at first, I see now why Guild Wars 2 is the #1 most anticipated MMO on MMORPG. That game is going to be awesome it looks like because everything about it is innovative and interesting looking. Real time combat, dynamic events, underwater zones, monster boss fights, equal PVP, no subscription fee. GW2 is the only MMO that really has me interested. After years of EQ/WoW/AoC, I'm looking forward to something NEW, not the same old rehashed shit that's been done since the 90's.

While I agree that SWTOR won't be anything we haven't seen before..
Really? Guild Wars 2 looks new and innovating to you? From the gameplay videos I've seen it ALSO looks basically like WoW. What's new about it? As far as I could tell, the combat was basically just how it is in SWTOR, as in no auto attacking, but instead pressing 1 to do your default attack.

You might want to watch some videos and look for more in-depth analysis. GW2 draws heavy inspiration from the DOTA and FPS genre. The combat is real time and more like an action RPG. SWTOR is the quasi "turn-based" system where you have to have someone targeted to do an attack. GW2 is real-time combat with an active "dodge" ability that's 100% skill based. Also, GW2 has dynamic content where it creates "events" as you explore the world and scales them based on the number of people around. GW2 also automatically adds everyone in a dynamic event to the same group. GW2 is nothing like WoW from what I can gather. The vids make it look more like a Diablo type of game than WoW.
Oh, and SWTOR does not have auto attack, but instead you have to spam the 1 key (default) for your basic attack, but it might as well have been auto attack. You can't throw down moves and combos unless you have a valid target. I was hoping it would be like Age of Conan, where you could swing and do combos whenever you wanted.

maybe he really enjoyed the game, period ? I said it like a year ago in this very thread (or several months), people have to stop to bitch about everything, but mostly they have to stop thinking that their opinion = everyones.
i for example play WoW, i like the graphics, the gameplay, skills etc., many here dont. guess what, i still play.
I will buy SWTor, like i bought most major MMO in the last 10 years and will play the free month and THEN i will decide for myself.
Anyway, just keep in mind that everyone has different opinions and tastes and there is nothing wrong about that.

SWTOR is classic MMO, just like WoW, Everquest, Rift, LotR and many others. People just don't get it and expect god knows what...

Watch a GW2 dev walkthrough and pay attention how careful they are with words:
"In this boss, that guy over there will be holding the boss away from the group (pay attention, they never say they are tanking nor generating aggro/threat), while the other guys are dps'ing the boss, while some others are, between other things, managing the hp of the group (yes, healers)".
Serious, GW2 is like every other MMO, the difference is virtually every class can be a healer/tanker/dps with the right spec.
