what about multidisc games? when the game asks to change disc how we gonna swap it?
Wondering about this as well. The key looks mighty tempting, but I am also wondering if I shouldn't wait a while and see what cheaper copies this will spawn. Here in Sweden the key is about 100 Euros.
You *probably* can do it with x360key but i don't think you can do it with Wasabi 360 cause you must quit to dashboard to be able to use it i think.
Anyway, does anyone know more about it? There are alot of multidisc games on 360 and there will be even more (FF13-2 etc..)
erm, well, it's a dvd drive emulator
it has an 'eject' button on it that you have to press before you can load up an image
and the xbox doesn't know anything different
also, x360key can't know if it's in the dashboard or whereever.. it's just a dvd drive (emulator)
it doesnt differ from what we've been doing with daemon tools for a decade in any way (other than being a hardware solution)
wasabi however.. unless it has a secondary method to selecting discs, i guess you're screwed
Trying to update my 120Gb Elite falcon, banned a long time a go.
Dash right now is 13146 (LT+1.9) and want to go to 13599 - so I copyd the folder from MS to USB like I have done a lot of times. Restarted the console, choosed Yes and when it´s extracting about 60% I get a E81 error. After reboot the console starts normal on a "old" settings.
Did the "hold the sync button and then turn console On thing" - nothing diffrent.
Though it is recommended to flash back to stock manually. There have been some people complaining of bricked machines, and even Live bans, after letting the dashboard flash it for you.
What about that option where you do a maintenance on the xbox?
System, memory then several button combos to start it which I can't remember of top of my head!
Right now the x360key is £78 (around 700kr) and that's just too much for me. I like the idea.. but honestly, for £120 I can get a Falcon JTAG which does everything the x360key does... but with the added benefit free DLC/XBLA
