I've kind'a had enough of those kind of guys on the internet trying to look innocent with their massive rig and asking questions right and left if their gtx 480 and i5, waiting for people to assure them that their "impressive rig" will do that game at any hour .

By the way what graphics settings was alpha? If I remember correctly people with 6870 were getting about 60fps, which is what I aim for no matter what settings I have to drop. Alpha looked quite good (excl. the bloom/high contrast). If the final product will run at 60fps with my card at reasonable graphical fidelity I'll be happy.

Have you tried doing the same with The Witcher 2 and a GTX480? It fucking melts it, BF3 has been built specifically for the PC, some of us like maxing out detail options, put two and two together with that.


I'm playing the Witcher 2 @ 1920 x 1080 all possible settings set to high, no ubersperm, using a gtx 560 .

You don't fucking need a GTX 480 to max everything on BF3, how do I know ? I know because I work with those guys .
I'm sick of those kids, sick .

The reason why DICE's community managers brag about people needing 35235 x GTX 580's to run the game maxed is:
1. They are douche bags
2. It will probably have some uberspermshit option, like consolitis said, which is useless and milks your hardware for nothing
