well i played a few matches.
gotta say i was pretty hyped about fifa 12, so i had my hopes up to see a improved fifa.
maybe i need more time to get into it, but right now im not so happy with the final product.
its much slower, no fast passes, players stumble over there own feet (thanks impact engine) and god damn i miss the old defense button to get a cpu friend for some defense help...
its not bad, just different from fifa 11. sadly not the way i was imagine it.
still ... gonna buy it as soon as possible. few more matches and im into it
atleast its still better then pes ha

Anyways. Although i'm a PES fan, i'm really impressed with this demo..

that's just fucked up how it that possible you can't install fifa 2011 if you have installed fifa 2012 demo that's just silly
is it just me or can't you take the ball away from the cpu feet ? if i tap a button on my controller i can take away the ball but not now anymore?
also how come fabregas is still in arsenal and not in barcelona?

that ini file is it working with someone to have more minutes ? it says 3 minutes still here and it's in black so i can't change it

Yeah it should work even though it says 3 minutes.
If you have stuttering even though the game runs on 60fps(fucking ati) try adding this
SCREEN_SLEEP=16
to the rna.ini file.

Tested it with 3 games on semi-pro and it felt pretty good. I haven't score any goals yet and i still need to practice some controlls etc..
I've noticed that transfers are horrible eg. Nasri and Fabregas are still in Arsenal, Bellamy, Santa Cruz, Boyata and Adebayror is in Man City etc..

Really good game, it's definitely a vaste improvement over last year's PC version. Everything is better, from the slower gameplay to the more refined ball physics, not to mention the more realistic contacts and excellent presentation with the renewed cutscenes/highlights.
I did a couple of matches at Semi-Pro difficulty with all the aids disabled/set on manual and it plays very differently from Fifa 11 PC: the game isn't forgiving at all, basically forcing me to re-learn some of the basics.
The performance is good as well ( no bugs encountered so far) and the 360 controller is perfectly supported.

This + vsync made the game even smoother for me (Ati 4870), thanks!
(If i recall correctly Fifa 11 post-patch had a similar option in the fifaconfig.exe) |

That's a comparison of games that are two years apart, I'm interested to know how it compares to last years fifa. |
