In that case (provided that the second drive is of same capacity) it's best to set up RAID0 array, ending up having both game and OS on same "C: drive" anyway |
That's not necessarily the optimal choice, as it would depend on how you use your OS. I'd say if you optimise your OS correctly and don't intend to install anything that would impact performance (anti-virus, anti-spyware, diagnostic programs, etc.) - then you're probably right. Personally, I've never seen much gain using RAID0 - but it should logically provide a boost.
Otherwise, you'd want a separate "clean" fast drive for your games, to minimise the HDD activity related to the OS.
But the reason I mentioned it, is that most people tend to buy a single fast SSD these days, and for some reason a lot of people are under the impression that you don't want it as your game drive.
It's my assumption that most people would prefer to have an optimally performing OS which boots up very fast - as well as their favorite games loading content as fast as possible. The "OS interference" will generally be minimal if you know what to disable (File Indexing and stuff). Provided, of course, that you have enough memory to disable virtual memory - but everyone should have that these days.

I am playing it with 360 controller on XBOX 360!
And I was playing it on pc before that.
It is better on a console

How's the gameplay different from PC version with a 360 pad other than running at 1/5th the framerate?

it doesnt.
and 30fps feels buttery smooth with analog sticks.
well.. I always get that feeling. Only smooth fps on pc for me is solid 60. If game is deeping to 40(which is still more than console) then I feel lag with mouse and its not smooth.
But on console its harder to differ 30fps from 60 not having comparison at sight, becouse analog sticks doesnt give You a way to feel how smooth it is and motion blur covers the rest.
About game being different on 360 than pc ? no. not at all. Its not slower or faster. autoaiming is the same as on pc(targeting limbs). Only difference is that You can enable analog combat with gamepad which I don't like. Tho some people will love it.
It really is just a personal choice to play console or pc.

Maybe you could've worded this better then because it sounded like you were making a factual statement sans conditions.

I've got PC and DerpBox 360 and Derpstation 3 and Wii (Derpii?) I ONLY use the consoles to play exclusives, though. If a game comes out on console AND PC I will always play the PC version, no matter how bad the port is.
So yeah my Xbox has been gathering dust for a while now.

If you guys are interested. For the reloaded release you need to copy the Data folder in the Dead Island\DI\out. | What does this change?

You can always set the game to LAN and Singleplayer if you get annoyed by that.
