Right now the game is unplayable on my rig: AMD2600+ Radeon9800pro, 1GB ram.
Even with medium settings any time im in a town and start firing or someone fires at me, the fps drop to like 1-5.
Hope this can be fixad with a patch. Cant play it running like this...
Dont mess with God, he can impregnate your girlfriend/wife without taking his pants off!

Hell yeah with me too, i can just run this game.. have most on high but a couple of things on medium and cant turn on AA (laggs to much)
I have AMD2800+ 1024DDR @ 333 Mhz (RAM runs faster if sync with CPU)
and XFX6600GT and it barely run's it laggs all the time and it loads alot
And the worst is when you quit the game..it takes like 2/3 min before you can do things again in windows..
Hope thell fix this a bit

This game needed at least 6 months more dev time, and probably more like a year. I feel sorry for anyone who bought this, although they should have known better than to buy anything published by Atari.

this game is another example of what could have been a stellar game handicapped by the publishers obviously harrassing the devs to rls the game before it was finished.

I dont have any problems with the game except this dialogue bug.
Text missing and sometimes characters get stuck in the middle of a sentence and start to repeat all over. (Don Esteban cant really talk)

haha just had my first "real" firefight, attacked a camp all by myself. i have 5-6 different guns, loads of ammo but when shooting about every 2-3rd round doesn't fire.. thats just too much
i also drove around picking guns of dead bodies and stored them in my car, drove to a arms dealer and thought i could make a lot of money, but only get 10-40 pesos per gun. buying them still costs 400+. i'll stick to stealing cars

The more I play this game, the more i love it. Awesome game.Defines immersion
Some performance tips (i'm getting really steady frame rates using these settings all the time, without any frequent CPU churning either)
-all settings mxed out except
-set static geometry to 600
-reduce grass distance by 50%
-reduce character details to 50%
-turn off in-game music and set music quality to low

Seems they overdid their advertising and overloaded their bandwidth. Anyone know what to do in my case?

Runs great for me, everything maxed out except;
Lighting on Regular (what is vertex anyway, per-pixel aint it?)
Grass distance & density at 50%
blabla radius set at 600
Runs great, except for some occational stutters while driving to load new scenery, but thats to be expected.
Tough i have a soundbug where the fireing and engine sounds are so high it hurts my ears, and the voice level was so low i had to constantly change my volume level. Fixed by changing dxdiag sound accelration to the second stage from the left.
I LOVE the time-of-day, evenings are kinda misty, nights are DARK just as in real life when not in a huge city.
The weapons tough, whats up with the weapons jamming every 3-8 shots????? Some control setting i forgot to change like rate of fire? A bug? A feature? :S

Think its actually a feature, rpg-thing. The better you get with the weapon the less it will jam etc. Pretty stupid.

Bugs? yeah well try A CRACK PROBLEM!!!!!! it aint just bugs , the fucking crack is not working properly , i played the clone realese , i had no problems with sound , i had no such things as people vanishing and other weird stuff, with relaoded crack it is 1000% time worst..
someone repack this shit plz! need a proper crack
