I thought that the part in MotorStorm where you see the Bungie from the 3rd person just behind it as it turned a bit left and right looked in game. 1:00min into the trailer for 2 seconds
Ah they froze the game world and looked around with the camera, would be cooler to see it done when the game was in motion.

Cool thing is that atleast the developers of the UT2k7 said was that the dev work on the ps3 is quite easy. That is great. Oh cant wait for the x360-PS3

$300 is alot more reasonable. I just hope it's £200 here, as it wouldn't be fair if they charge the american public $300 and the british public £300.

Ah well i'm not too hyped about the PS3's release any more. When it's closer to the release date we'll have alot more information to get excited over.
Until then, i'll stick with Xbox360, because I hate getting hyped so far from release.
This is just sonys way of trying to ruin the xbox's hype party.

ok then. This is how I see it (from a 100 % neutral perspective):
XBOX 360:
Focused mostly on the LIVE part and the line-up of XBOX 360 launch games. They did not make a good impression on what the next gen. have to offer in terms of "blow away" demos.
PS3:
Did a better job of showing how next gen games WILL look like. They had more focus on the 'next gen' part. This is what E3 is all about, so I don't blame them for that...
Nintendo:
Focused mostly on handhelds and GameCube.
I just hope Killzone 2 and Motor Storm will be what we see. I think they will, but they're still too far away.

ps3 becasue the catalgue will be more varied, the announced games are the most interesting of the three, and i like j-rpg and jap fighters / shooters so xbox doesn't appeal to me as there is only american crap coming out for it.
don't i need some magical illegal thing?

I'm starting not to like microsoft, I didn't like the wording on the backwards compatability thing. Did you guys listen to how they worded it, It sounds like only the top games will be backwards compatable. I didn't the like the way microsoft tiptoes around things. |

lol how pathetic, especially the line "Keep in mind that Sony has a track record of over promising and under delivering on technical performance".
they can talk shit as much as they want, the ps3 presentations were alot more spectacular than the xbox360 ones, and that sums uo everything.
even if we disregard killzone and motor storm, microsoft hasnt shown anything nearly as impressive as the getaway london presentation.

If you'd read all my post, you'd see that I said I'm sorry already. I jumped to conclusions. The PS3 did have many Real-Time demos, but SOME where "Estimates".. So saying just one realtime was stupid, i agree.

tech demo's are useless and never represent the final product. I'm still waiting on PS2 to render Toy Story in Real-Time.
In my honest opinion, I think x360 and ps3 will perform VERY close. From the reports everywhere I've been reading yesterday, CELL does super fantastic floating point calculations, but it falls short in terms of other processing power.
One of the biggest kicks is that audio is processed on the CPU on both machines. Having a triple core processor handling 2 64bit threads per core wins hands down when it comes to rendering 5.1 audio real time. A dual threaded SINGLE core CPU will lose that battle. As such, I think you'll find a lot of PS3 games will have Dolby PL II and cut scenes in 5.1
I'm still getting both systems coz I'm a real gamer =D However, I'm undecided about Nintendo Revolution. Nintendo didnt show anything about it =[

They confirm that killzone 2 and Heavenly Sword are both real gameplay videos. Which is amazing!
