Well as of right now, if you bought the game, it will not launch. But when it did launch, it was an amazing game with great atmosphere and beautiful game world

Game's not crappy. It has its downsides like every other title out there, but personally for me, it's one of the best games this year. Immersive, open-world, great zombie slasher.

Alot of people think its great. Others like me says its crap.
Open world, not so much no. Then again, depends what you compare it to.
Consolportish feel to it.

So Techland fails on another patch?My guess is that they have big financial problems.

Well it appears, according to some random people over at steamforums, only the .ru version is affected.
As i have a .ru version - I cant play. Will try setting language to .ru and trying it out. Perhaps it got blocked...

hey the file scene30.ppfx to disable bloom where do i put this in my documents DeadIsland out data postprocessing or in my steam directory? because i don't find a previous file called that?
also i have bought the game and take some edited pak file from here and put it in my steam folder but it crashed now my game ?

Ok, so there's a solution
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\dead island\DI\Data
Open game.ini
Change Locale("En") to Locale("en")

Money pickups are shared. All players get the full amount.
You can't trade money though, for some reason.

Why is the mouse sensitivity so messed up? Mine is perfect in game but very very slow in the menu.

I just plugged in my 360 controller to try the analog fighting system, and I must admit its way better then M/K (digital).
Meant to be played with a controller.

can someone tell me if you have bought the game and use steam and you want to edit your fov bloom blur ssao and stuff with the latest patch what must i do ? or if someone can upload it with all these fixes in it and have the latest patch it would be helpfull
i now just edited the fov and put the file in my documents instead of replacing this file in the pak0 file that's the way you need it to do otherwise it crash?
