oh come on... blizzard could do much better job in balancing gameplay... such game as this shouldnt be only free roaming on normal difficulty. I doubt that Hell difficulty would change anything too cause after free roaming in normal u would master ur skills to perfection... There is no fun just to see how new spells are splashing all over ur monitor killing almost everyone instantly. Yeah, it looks great, but where is the point of getting new gear, new spells and etc. if ur pets or simple melee attack could kill anyone without any threat to a player? I remember that in D2 health potions meant at least something Smile i just pray that power balance would be increased so everyone could enjoy approaching every battle in a different way... No need to make 3d part of this marvelous game just to a casual players...

Yeah, hell mode and inferno mode wont change anything. ok Rolling Eyes

Game won't get cracked anyway since it's server-based like WoW. Best case scenario some server emulation will happen in the future (very late in the future that is), but plagued with the usual crap that kills the fun in WoW private servers as well, like non working skills, bugged quests, mobs etc.

Besides it's a 1 time payment for a piece of history.

Main PC : I7 12700, MSI Ventus RTX 4090 24gb, Alienware AW3423DW QD-OLED
Laptop : I5 4200H @ 3400mhz boost, GTX 850m 2gb Vram DDR3, 4gb RAM DDR3
Derpsole : Playstation 5 disc edition, Ninty Switcherino
TV+audio: LG CX 65" / Sonos ARC + SL ones + Sonos sub 3
VR Headset: Meta quest 2 airlinked

The SC2 beta used the same set up, yet that beta was cracked though. What would be the difference then? The fact that it's revolved around more of a game world than just simple RTS maps? Can it be generated by a server? Or is it more of a SP thing.

diablo 3 has much more integration with the online stuff than the sc2 beta.
sc2 essentially has single player support out of the box with playing offline for guest accounts, so that just had to be enabled so to speak.
with diablo 3 there's no single player to it whatsoever and everything is gonna be handled server side to prevent any kind of cheating. stuff like monster spawns, drops, map generation, damage, selling/buying, etc won't be client side so that stuff would have to be run on an emulated server.. just too much work for the near future.
a simple crack won't do for diablo 3

Basically what he said, and what i said in my first post. SC2 had offline SP, Diablo 3 has no actual SP it's all server-side.

Diablo III (Basically Worthless, Don't Get Excited) Beta Offline Crack v0.0.1

you can skip to char creation view, nothing more. from my pov, barbarian looks the best, wd the worst. still, i will play a wd Smile.

and for server emulator i presume the bigest thing we will see in a few months, it will be an empty world with starter chars runing around. that in the best case.
cataclysm emulators after all this time are pure crap, and i presume d3 will use some of cataclysm security features.

So campaign will also need connection to blizzard servers to be played or it will have some kind of guest acc like sc2?Or this measure will be only for the beta?

its fun to watch the people who bash the game because

a) they cant pirate it

b) dont like the "always on"

i dont mind people who genuinly dont like the game, everyone his opinion, right, but bashing a game because you may have to buy it or because you dont like a totally non-game related issue you have with it (the always connected doesnt change the game itself, now does it ?).

The source code of a beta beta server will be released later today so the guys at #D3SE are onto something. Razz
