Me and Mutantius just spent 5 hours getting this to work
we were reinstalling , trying different patches, trying everything.
but we finally got it to work, I would suggest NOT updating to 1.1, this caused freezes for me every 10 seconds.
we reinstalled, applied the crack, and used the COOP files for the origional version, and using tunngle and smartsteam we had a good game.
just started to really get into it but we had to quit as its not 10 to 5 in the morning lmao.
anyway, we will be playing tommorow night, EU time , so if anyone wants to play just let us know.
(but if you do be ready, ie: youve installed it without the update, have tunngle and have smartsteam) this took alot of setting up and fiddling.

How the fuck do you enable V-Sync in this game? and I don't mean forcing it via D3DOverrider. JBeckman, what's the location for this game's settings file? I think you had posted it for CoJ.

Whats the difference between manually editing the video.scr to turn on vsync and just overriding it with the nvidia control panel?

AFAIK, nothing. Editing the config file is as good as enabling it from within the game. Whereas, over-riding it through control panel or 3D party app, is just forcing the game to use V-sync by an external source.

Yeah the quest markers dissapear when i pickup a second quest in the very first building. |
maybe that quest has no marker press I goto quests and see if u can track the main quest? |
Yeah, choosing main quest after taking the optional quest that guy gives you to find maggie returns your marker. That guys quest is a searching mission hence lack of marker. Taken second base now and quest marker still there with update 1. No problems at all.

fresh accounts without any game cant add friends,it may be enough to add one of those free games but im not sure about that tbh
