I don't agree with all the scores, but I don't think reviewers are paid to give high scores. So many people think these games are great, and im pretty sure you haven't played Gears of War 2 or Halo Reach. So at least try them before you judge them. And MW2 is 9/10 imo, loved the story, level variation. Guess simple scripted gameplay aren't for you, and I respect that. But overall it was a pretty nice SP experience. Much better than other FPS games these days.

So if Driver really sucked it would get lower grades. I wont be able to judge it myself before there is a release. But it can't be as bad as NFS: undercover to give an example. Also a big name... reviewers doesnt throw out random numbers

They don't get paid to review, but when setting out to write, they are under pressure of stopping advertisement. Do you remember the GameSpot fiasco?

You must be high on crack or something.

Gamespot gave a bad grade to a shitty game. And eidos pulled there ad campaign from gamespot website.

Those games you are showing are GREAT games. The games are well made and very fun to play. That you don't like them does not make them anything less than great.

Of course they get paid to review, they don't do it for charity Very Happy Nah, I got what you meant Wink Remember the fiasco; the reviewer lost his job for giving Army of two 2 a 6/10 score. Its a rare case tho.

Might play this on the weekend with my buddy then. Hopefully you get some nice cars and tracks from the start. I hated that about some other driving games lately. They allowed you to split-screen, but first you gotta unlock everything in SP. That is quite annoying, seeing as I wasn't interested in driving alone with my friend sitting next to me...

If you're on 1.9 I guess you're okay Very Happy. But there's 1.91 and it gives you ability to play ap2.5 or 2.6 games like asscreep brotherhood and nfs hot pursuit. Tho I'm not sure about the new dash and 1.9. I'm in the same boat... waiting for 2.0 or that new jtag to become more accessible Smile

The scene doesn't care about JTAGs, because so few % of of xbox owners have a JTAG Sad Will have to wait a homemade upload at sky it seems like Sad I hope not tho.

I'm not expecting a release anytime soon. Doesn't hit here until Sept 6th.

Unless you have a JTAG, it's not like you can just burn and play this, if in fact it's been confirmed and real that M$ is using the new Xbox 360 Media Disc format. We will all have to wait on C4E to release a new firmware.

It will be without a doubt interesting the next couple days on the scene with the new disc format finally surfacing.

I'd expect an xbox release soon tbh. The PS3 version is out (Driver San Francisco PS3-DUPLEX) but its 3.66. I've stopped checking ps3 info but presumably it'd rely on an eboot fix.
