I didn't like the endings. No development after the fact, just some philosoraptor movies..

Made a vid of some of my favorite takedowns throughout the game.

Mild spoilers.

Finished the game in 40 hours, taking as much time as possible. Loved it, would have been well worth full price, so certainly was worth the £15 I paid Very Happy

What was that mission with the bald dude and the body guards in the sewers? Never got that one.

Why did you kill all those poor halucinating people Sad I mean knocking them out is one thing, but blasting them with shrapnel ...

stemot, it's a mission that you are given in the LIMB Clinic in Heng Sha when you are asked to go there for the chip replacement.

Ah, that explains it, I never went for my chip replacement. I later found out that not doing that meant I had an advantage later on Smile

I used gas grenades on them. Very Happy On the ones that were on the final stretch to the last boss.

Before that - blazing them with the machine gun. Cool

stemot, you don't really have to do the replacement. It's just to point out the moment when I got the mission. There is a doctor inside that calls you by your name - it's not the one that you have to talk to replace the chip.

human_steel, you evil man, what did they do to you? Imagine your trusty mechanical arm betraying you and grabbing random women in the street. Imagine your trusty mechanical eye playing Rebecca Black's "Friday" into your brain all day! Sad

I never even went back there after I went there to get info from someone and I never stopped to chat to anyone else. Never mind, on my second (legal version) playthrough now so I'll not miss it again.

Okay so I returned from Montreal and before reaching my apartment door my interface glitched. Then when I approached the "speech" center the same thing happened again. Without any spoilers, is there a story reason for this?

1 and 2 are still amazing.

Actually, the wars in 2030s might be the answer.

Just finished the game yesterday...

A few thoughts:

You end up with enough praxis points (if you explore, do sidequests and buy at LIMB) to almost max out every augmentation, i opted to not have the typhoon and fortify hacking as they were useless.

The game size is about right, not too long as to be a chore and not too short as to be a dissapointment.

The last "level" in the game was a let down... reminded me of resident evil and zombies...

The game didnt save after each of the 4 ending, (its stupid easy to see each one as you can save before you make the "choice". So that probably means no importing saves for sequel or expansions/dlc.

Speaking of endings, they almost did a ponint for point reash of the Deus ex 2 endings... lack of imagination...

Only 2 hubs and a couple of others distinations, but little variety... Sad

The second time you visit each hub its almost exclusively to do the main mission, there are maybe one or 2 aditional sidequests, its dissapointing.

All said, its one of the best rpg's i have played in the last few years, but it's not even remotely on the same league as Deus Ex 1, that one was by far the better game in my opinion.

Isn't there really no secret sexy panther way of dealing with the bosses? This stupid grinding just feels stupid and waste of time on Deus Ex difficulty. Especially that electric ninja slut with Eliza.

I amassed ridiculous ammounts of ammo and guns with upgrades... i might as well have sold them, because i just needed grenades for bosses and energy bars for melee... and thats it. The game is cool as a stealth game with takedowns... as a shooter... meh.

yes but should i try to stealth take all guards down or should i avoid some of them regarding experience points or it dosent matter if they even notice me since i can run and still get back there and know them out or maybe it dosent matter at all since i get exp for every guard i take down ?
