I have a friend who went onto the nforce main website and clicked on the forum button and then from there clicked on the register button on the forums. A link referred him to the main site, it said to "If you need to register please head over to the Main Page and create an account there." So he went to the main page and clicked on the "register here" link. He got his username and password and hashkey in an email that said:
"This is the almost the final version of the registration. You now have to confirm your account by going to the registration part of the website again and click the confirmation link on the left. You can now fill in your username and copy the hash into the hash field."
So that's what he did he entered the hash key and it said that his account was activated he then logged in on the main part of the page and in the upper left hand corner it said he was logged in he then clicked on the forums button and clicked on the login button on the forums put in his username and password and it said "You have specified an incorrect or inactive username, or an invalid password." and he cant login to forums even though the forum login says "Be sure you use your site login, the old forum accounts dont work anymore. If you dont have an account, go back to the main page and register there. That what he's using and it doesnt work.
He tried this with both FireFix and IE, he cleared cookies etc... He even tried to register 2 different usernames in case 1 of them was already used but didnt tell him so. The username he registered are:
Overon- & Overon0
If someone could please help out I would appreciate it.
