Well fuck, just lost about 12 hours of gameplay. Just got to China, got the HUD glitch, and didn't have a save before I got it.
I'll have to restart... eventually. :/

Yes it does, yes it does. And the game likes to autosave often when walking around the city, so it autosaved often while I had this glitch before I noticed it when I tried to zoom with my gun.

Just finished everything in Detroit, everything that I managed to find that is, but I found pretty much everything I guess as I searched every damn corner and under every damn box (not the heavy ones though). About 23 hours so far. I would rush this mission just to see if I will still have my stuff in the apartment when I come back to Detroit. I couldn't find an answer to this anywhere and nobody answered here either. Really nobody tried that?

the stuff I dropped in my apt the first time i got there was still there when I returned to detroit hub the 2nd time.

Is it just me, or the radar go bonkers in the last mission? Signals jump all over the place, sometimes they stand still, usually when I have a clean sight of the target, but most of the time they are really glitchy.
Anyways, finished it. Amazing game, a real gem compared to the wast amounts of shit that comes out these days.  Spoiler: | In the end I went with Sarif. Science and technology saved way more people than it killed, which cannot be said about ignorance and fearmongering (quite the opposite). Was tempted by the 4th alternative, but figured that if I don't spin the events my way, someone else most certeanly will. Might as well be me.  |

I couldn't get it resolved. She kept asking for her meal and I thought it best not to push further. That was the end of that thread. I think I never got to know all about Jensen's past that the game had to tell. |

I don't think there IS any more to tell, or at least; nothing else to get out of that sweet little old lady. She was senile, through and through, so I doubt there was any more to get. As soon as I got her the meal she wanted, then left the apartment, Steam popped up with an achievement -- so I guess that pretty much proves it.

Does anyone know what was in that "large" update today? Or the contents of the 29th August "announcement"?

game keeps messing up my comp,
so far whilst playing, my keyboard starting acting weird like alt was constantly pressed.
rebooted to fix
next the game crashed and my keyboard stopped working completely, had to change usb port and reinstall the drivers.
now every hour or so the sound pops and all sfx dissapear, if i try to quit the game i get a black screen, task manager wont even show up
starting to piss me off

I had the same thing happen to me and I provided the fix a couple pages back.

Sorry mate but I generally have no clue.
Maybe the THEGFW.ini file got corrupted? Or maybe even the savegames themselves.

I have saves that work and auto saves etc but there is nothing in that folder of mine lol. not even hidden stuff.. its just empty all the time.
ah they are in..
C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Local\DeusEx3\SAVES\28050
