The sequel itself was a bit "meh".
Not like the wonderful, wonderful first part.
I love that people still expect mmorpgs to be original and worth the monthly subscription fees.

Well, Eve Online is still running. Pretty much the most original and not-dumbed-down MMORPG out there( only suffered minimal dumbing down over the years).
Would really love to go back to Anarchy Online anno 2002-2003 or Star Wars Galaxies before the stupid 'enhanced' patch though.

Tried the game a bit. They could certainly make some proper tutorials rather than that half assed bullshit there is now. Well, it's a year since i tried it so things might have changed since then. Had to learn loads of stuff basic stuff that seems not so basic in Eve on my own as it was not covered in the tutorials.
Well from that trailer, the idea seems cool but execution not so cool. Monsters look nice and different but actual characters and animations are kinda bleh. It is fairly early still so we'll see.

As he said - not dumbed down Eve is vast, find a pace that suits you. You wont master the game for a long while
No real groundbreaking updates, but I'm guessing we'll get some solid news once Secret World ships. And count me in on anything Ragnar Tornquist touches, I still like TLJ and Dreamfall much better than Alan Wake, Heavy Rain, LA Noire, and all of Telltale Games episodic adventures.
As you have noticed (no doubt ... that one thread is growing faster than weed in a full moon night) there's an issue with the timer for the Secret War.
We are sorry for the hassle this causes. Our technicians, gathered from the ranks of all three secret societies, are working to fix the issue. We hope to have some update for you guys soon.
