It's wave 12 and has dash update 2.0.13416 on disc. So you need LT+ 1.9 or 1.91.

LT 1.1 won't boot this even though the dash is updated...? A newer firmware is still required..?

I took a chance with my 1.9 LT and was not asked to do any updates, went straight to the game.

Just starting the first mission.

I still need to finish DE myself.

I'll plan on testing LT 1.1 when I try updating my dash tonight.

The dashboard update should take care of the wave update. I know that you could downgrade the wave so that newer games would boot on an older dashboard as this removes the update but the firmware shouldn't stop the game from booting, that is unless they change the disc checks, which is highly possible as you would need 1.91 and not 1.1.

There will be another firmware as we'll need one to boot the new disc format M$ is going too. Which is why there flashing drives with dashboard updates in the first place.

So far a bit bland on what things do, no tutorial that I saw so far...

Graphics are ok ish (hhmmm..changed my mind, they are pretty grotty), at the moment I'm thinking Soldier of Fortune, run here, do that, run the other way, do this, kill a few on the way but no real satisfaction....

Lots of pop up and the audio of the African troops will send you insane, same words on and on...

I fear reviews will trash this one...

I like the game for what it is.

Just put it on easy, grab a few beers (30) and shoot away. Kinda refreshing after playing story intense game like deus ex. Just blast away and don't look back.

Had a quick blast. Nice gore and explosions and to be honest better than expected after reading the fairly negative comments. Considering I was thinking of skippety skip, I think it's worth a verb.

I also was able to play the game without flashing after running the update from the disc. I haven't flashed my firmware since Assassins Creed: Brotherhood. Smile

No, I was only about 60% trough. The missions get tougher too :/ And hard enemies are not only those fat guys with minigun anymore.

The game is 4-5 hours. I was really lucky sometimes and was very close to dying many times. But managed to get the checkpoints I needed mostly. Played on Normal, and tought the game was pretty damn hard tbh.

Bulletstorm is so much better... so if I didnt have endless freetime Id skip this one tbh. But the challenge is whats cool about this game. And yes, "impossible" is impossible Very Happy

@Leo: has anyone claimed it was a "smart" game? Very Happy They obviously tried to make a fun game (and it actually is a little fun... at times ). But id give the story 2/10. But nobody plays these kinda of games for the story anyway

Black was a "dumb" game. Just aim, shoot and blow shit up -- with one or two levels where pseudo-stealth was involved. And it was tons of fun, it did it's own thing really well. Form what I've heard so far, Bodycount falls in a similar category. Also, Body-count -- you didn't expect this to top Deus Ex HR's narrative did you?! Laughing

Complaining about games like these for being dumbed down or not smart enough is like comparing a game of darts with chess...

Exactly, and this is even dumber. Laughing Get my flow?

Bad analogy is bad. Chess and darts measure completely different skills. What skill does this shit measure? Patience? Derpness? Laughing

Well seeing as I haven't played it, yet, from what I can tell so far that would be "body counting".
