Same as alpha leak unfortunately. Also, the cutscenes are still crap quality but they improved the colors so it doesn't look all cheap and washed out like they did in the alpha.
Besides those 2 things, the game is fantastic. Runs very well too with everything maxed |
Loadingtimes aint that bad.. atleast mine didnt go above 5 secs. |
You have it install to your ssd? I'm running it from my regular hdd

I'm fully expecting to get Bioshocked again. Meaning I wait for the crack for what seems like forever, then cave in and buy the game and the crack comes out the next day.

There are many people complaining about loading times on the official forums, including some with RAIDed SSDs. There seems to be some kind of glitch that affects certain configurations. Disabling vsync worked for some people - some guy even monitored file reads during loading with a debugging tool - apparently it is synced with the framerate for some reason. ;o

Quick question guys: I've kind of decided to go the stealthy route, but are you still able to find emails and messages on terminals or do you risk missing some because of course as you move stealthily it is more difficult (impossible) to fully explore all rooms and tables?
Thanks

Yes. You can choose any language version in steam. The RUS/POL refers to which language packs are present on the dvds - you can download the rest.

Ah thats why. Perhaps Il try reinstalling the game on my ssd. The long ass loading time does encourage me to play extra carefully though

Well SSD isnt alone what makes up for loading times, cpu and ram count aswell.

You buy the game because it's worth it, not because the DRM beats you.
If it is not important enough for you that you'd want to buy regardless of the existence of a crack, then don't buy it. A week more a week less, it will be there eventually.

Here's how to play it now.
(For dummies, with cash, in Europe...)
Register at USAip
Connect to the friggin thing.
Buy the game at steam.
1. Preload the entire game. (from anywhere, put it in "\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common )
2. Exit Steam and find a US VPN, open Steam once you're on the VPN.
3. Decrypt/Unlock the game and run it at least once whilst still connect to the VPN.
4. Exit the game and Steam.
5. Disconnect from the VPN.
6. Go into the DE: HR Steam folder "Steam\steamapps\common\deus ex - human revolution"
7. Create a text file called "steam_appid.txt"
8. Inside that text file put the number: 28050
9. Save the file and then run the exe directly.
10. The game will now launch and you can play it without being on a VPN. " |
