German games are usually censored, here in Sweden and most other european countries you get the full version with blood, gore and more...

Of course the UK version isn't censored. The german version probably is though.

Here is a short review from boiling-point.net :
Graphics:
Well, to be perfectly honest they are sweet. Okay, so the NPCs look a little
plain, but the immersion level of the game more than makes up for that.
The town I started in is very well done, and the fact that you can't enter all
buildings doesn't spoil it for me, because why would I waste my time going into
every one when there are enough to go into anyway?
The weather system looks fantastic, I started sneezing when I was stood out in
the rain, whilst reading the game manual lol. Then Saul said 'My throat is
dry, I need to find somewhere to get a drink.' So whilst searching for the
bar, I happened to pay a visit to the Mayor, and his secretary is quite cute I
think... lol Day/Night cylce works well too. As I said though, the immense
world makes up for the lack of cutting edge graphics, and to be honest, I'd
rather it be like this than the other way round.
Sound:
I LOVE the music, although some people may find it repetitive, it does it for
me so... Also ambient sound is good, although the towns sound much busier than
they actually are, but you just have to imagine for that one...
Immersion:
As I said, very immersive (is that a real word?) I got bumped into in the
street by a guy who I ended up having a conversation with about the Mayor, and
how apparently corrupt he is!!! The characters are fairly well played, very
stereo-typical I think! There are obvious differences between them (they are
not all the same as in some games) and I look forward to meeting many more.
AI:
True, it is lacking. I had a laugh a few minutes ago when I came around a
corner to find a car parked on the pavement trying to drive through a lamp
post, then a citizen walked into the car and fell flat on his back. Suddenly
the music changed to something dramatic and I thought they would start
attacking me, but they didn't, and Saul said 'Hey, don't shoot, I'm with you.'
So not sure why they thought I was anything to do with it, but I walked away
and nothing further happened.
Citizens also walk into trees and stuff, hopefully they can sort stuff like
this out though.
Haven't tried combat yet...
Controls:
Very good, I was able to immediately get into the game and find all the
neccessary keys etc. I was particularly impressed with this. I feel the
movemend is good too, although I haven't driven any vehicles yet.
I am running this game on all max settings, with the maximum resolution my
monitor can handle (1600x1200) or whatever it is, and I get occasional lock-ups
when a lot is going on, like when I first approached the Black Jaguar Bar, but
I don't mind those, I am used to those in games becasue I always whack the
settings up to the max.
Anyway, if you haven't got it, get it, and if you have it on pre-order, look
forward to playing it, because I think it is awesome so far, and I am sure I
will enjoy the rest of it. It will be interesting to see how it develops, and
how much they can fix in the patch.

I wouldnt judge a "review" by the english skill of the writer (who is obviously just a fan).
You know - there are places in the world where english is not the native tongue of ppl...

I want this game NOW 
this makes me laugh. I still can't figure out why some games get censored and others don't.
