Yeah, but I didn't have them, because I chose something else, not sure what, it gave me a canister instead of the killphrase i think. |

Well I don't know, maybe because there is no takedown for robots or turrets?
I was carrying mine "just in case".

I want to know, why isn't there any guide to the social aug, and what do these 2 mean:
"Ghost" - probably don't be seen?
"Smooth Operator" - probably don't trigger an alarm?

The social aug is explained when you use it, at least I figured it out while trying it for the first time. Just watch which factors are triggered the most during the conversation and choose the accordent option.
The bonuses are, as kenny64 said, explained on the loading screens, you got them right. There is also a bonus for not alerting any guards, but I can't remember the name right now.

But does using a takedown on a guard (or double) act against 1 of these bonuses, if nobody sees you, or their bodies?

No, I use takedowns (non-lethal) all the time on guards and still got awarded with the Ghost bonus.
Just make sure to hide the body, and especially not to be seen by the guard before you attack him. But I think there is a real short timespan when he first notices you until it goes to alarm, so might have like 0.5 sec to take him down.
With the cloaking ability it's really easy, just turn it on and you can walk straight up to them.

Medium seemed fine for the beta. Hard difficulty kinda didn't make sense how the augmented cyborg could take less shots than a regular un-armored human.

On Steam:
Make sure you haven't blocked the game from being automatically updated.
Verify the integrity of the game's installation.
Change the content server you are using.

Stuppe, you need to put the executable into your steam game folder. Some versions of the game don't download it. Get it from one of the steam unlocked releases that are floating around or from cs.rin.ru.
