Buuuuuut, they say that it's a russian key. And they wrote this:

This game requires activation with Russian IP but after it has been activated you will be able to play everywhere with all languages, your account will not banned you can read on the developer forum that all versions can be played everywhere after activation with all languages, you can read it here - http://forums.eidosgames.com/showthread.php?t=119397 |
I don't want to get my acc banned from steam :X.... so, is that true?
btw. I can't tell you which shop it is, cus I already got banned once for telling -.- ... dunno why, cus almost everyone is posting links to some weird cd key shops.
pm me if you really want to know the shop |
Consider using a new Steam account for that game/key
Ryzen 5 5600, ASUS ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING WIFI II, Corsair Vengeance RGB RT 32GB 3600MHz C16, MSI RTX 5070 Ti Ventus 3X OC , Corsair RMx Series RM750x. AOC AGON AG324UX - 4K 144Hz 1ms

Why are you complicating? Buy the game from somewhere that has legit keys and you won't have any problems. There's no point risking an entire Steam account to save a few bucks.

Don't buy from Onlinekeystore unless you want to wait until Friday for the key to arrive in your mailbox.

You have to upgrade the other Hacking aug options like stealth.

You HAVE to upgrade your stealth hacking aug to at least level 2, otherwise you're preety much fucked. You could also use a bunch of nukes and stop worms if u have any left. |

Is there any way to store items apart from letting them lie on the ground? That rocket launcher just takes up a shitload of space in my inventory, even though it is maxed out...
And is there any disadvantage to knocking guards out instead of killing them, apart from the fact that they can be woken up by other guards?

There's no need mate, I can sum the game up in three words (well, four words but with a contraction ) It's Deus Ex. I guarantee if you enjoyed Deus Ex (for ANY reason) then you'll enjoy this - as Eidos Montreal have accomplished what we thought was impossible; they've recreated a faithful Deus Ex experience. However; if you wish a mini-review/impression spiel then by all means.
The audio is top notch, with - IMO - outstanding voice acting and ambience. The music isn't as memorable or cyberpunk-esque as Alexander Brandon's score of perfection, but then; I doubt anything ever will be. The guy knows electronica and cyberpunk. My only complaint is that EM initially promised that "every NPC will be completely unique, they'll have their own lines and their own interactions" - but sadly this is simply not true. While every NPC is *visually* unique, I've lost count of the amount of times several different NPCs have recycled the same recorded lines. What a shame. hehehe
The visuals, while not the most technically accomplished, are still beautiful. Every single area in this game, even down to the grotty back alleys, just oozes design and character. There's no copy/paste bullshit here, everything is hand placed and with great attention to detail. The whole world just looks alive because of it. Technically it's not going to win every award out there, as there are some low-res and blurry textures, some poor animations on characters and it uses compressed videos for cutscenes, rather than using in-game live assets. Still, if you can look past that (and sadly I know some people can't) then I honestly believe you won't find much to complain about in the visuals, they're gorgeous and they fit the mood so well. I definitely appreciate the art direction EM took. Sadly I can't speak for tessellation or any of the DX11 niceties, since I only have a 4870 and that, paired with my lowly dual-core proc, causes some performance issues from time to time. What a shame. hehehe
Gameplay is, at heart, pure Deus Ex. It takes what made Deus Ex so engrossing and works wonderfully, with a strong focus and emphasis on stealth/exploration as opposed to all out gunplay. What sets HR aside from DX is that you CAN, if you want, go all out as a gun-toting maniac - due to the skill-based shooting rather than stat-based. It's a lot harder to play that way, as the AI is pretty good at flushing you out of hiding and they have scary good accuracy. Take a couple of shots and it's over. Most of us won't play that way, thankfully, which gives the REAL Deus Ex feeling chance to shine; exploration, hacking, stealth - and I've gotta say; it's done wonderfully! If there is a drawback, it's that the game is geared towards stealth and xp awards are handed out en masse for stealth and silent kills, which makes the game considerably easier. I've just finished Detroit and already have 20+ praxis skills spent, simply due to me hacking everything in sight and sneaking around undiscovered, taking out enemies with silent - non lethal - weapons. The same cannot be said for combat, where a lethal kill will net you half the xp of a non-lethal one. What a shame. hehehe
The hacking and social aspects of the game are, thankfully, expertly done. EM weren't kidding when they said the "social boss battles" were dynamic. I've encountered several so far and, even after a reload and using the very same tactics as before, the outcome can drastically change. It's wonderful and I relish the thought of more social combat Sadly even this isn't without its faults, namely; Social Aug. Once you have that you have an insta-win button for any and all social combat. The aug reads your opponent's body language, including pupil dilation and skin fluctuations, and then advises you accordingly - then, as the insta-win tactic, can read which kind of group the person is; Alpha, Omega and Beta, by way of a small gauge. It tells you which attitude they are more strongly attuned to, then gives you the option to use pheromones to apply to that specific trait .. and bam, you winz. What a shame. hehehe
As for hacking? At early levels, with fewer points in your hacking augs, it can be mercilessly difficult; with the CPU "discovering" your attempts and tracing you in short order, but at the same time; you get an honest to god rush from beating a difficult hack with 0.15 seconds to go before it traces you. The last thing you want, when sneaking in enemy territories, is a hack to go wrong and alarms to sound ^_^ The minigame is fun and requires a fair bit of strategy, but also comes down to just plain luck sometimes - you MAY get lucky and not trigger a trace on that "55% chance to detect" nodule, but you MAY not. At higher aug levels? The hacking becomes a breeze and even Lv4/lv5 hacks aren't too troubling. Upgrade Capture to full, upgrade Stealth to full and you winz. What a shame. hehehe
TL;DR
It's not a perfect game, there are a few niggly issues and design choices, but if Nixxes breaks with tradition and puts out a mod kit or SDK, and if EM keep the support going in terms of content patches and - - DLC, it could well be GoTY. It's already MY game of the decade, that's for sure. For now though, just be rest assured that this IS Deus Ex. It's not Invisible War. It's Deus Ex that we all know and love and I'm ready to guarantee that if you enjoyed DX, you'll love this.

Does changing the difficulty also change enemy behaviour or just how much damage you can take?

Are the mouse controls improved in the final version? They were pretty sluggish in the leaked version.

I would "assume" both, but I wouldn't know as I've not changed the difficulty yet.

They feel fine TO ME, but there have been complaints from others about the sluggish/acceleration stuff on the mouse.
