because you have only shitty units, you dont have acces to advisors
now i have to grind 44k xp because the main quest requires a research i dont have  |
Asfar as i know, you can respec for a certain amount of money?

Yeah, single player is basically "quests" that give you objectives to complete and then you get experience from which you gain levels and can train new technology (upgrade your units). Many of these quests allow you to play coop with a friend which makes things easier and more fun.
In PVP, due to the leveling system for players, if you are matched against a higher level player you will be at a disadvantage because they have superior technology. It is early days still but from what I can gather many people are focusing on the questing and waiting until they reach max level (40) before doing pvp so things are more balanced and fair.

im definitly buying this one. played for 3 hours and was like in the early days.
multiplayer should be real fun...
but they should make a mp system like the one from blizzard in stacraft, that definitly rocks!
aoe has a weird system in were you have to be invited by a player who bougt the game, to play mp... and the mp enviroment feels weird... as nonexistent in the basic game

I dont think i will support this game.. i rather buy the complete package at once.. than getting a free game(or should i say a demo?) in wich you have the option to buy or not buy the "premium" content...
It might not hurt the wallet at this stage.. but i am sure there will be a massive "premium" content comming in the next months and i wonder how much it will cost then?
I am not againts f2p.. I play LOL and there is a nice system.. where you can get any champion simply by playing alot or pay with real money for champs and skins which WONT OVERPOWER you in anyway.
Am i the only one with this opinion regartying to age of empires online ? :s

Depends on how you look at it i suppose.
I like the game. It has a nice rpg loot gathering system with the traditional aoe gameplay, and it's not expensive unless you decide to buy everything including the decorative crap. If you buy the 2 factions it costs less than 40€ and that's the price of a game. Or you can buy only one faction for half and you got dozens of hours of gameplay, and that's pretty cheap in my book.
Of course they'll keep adding Civilizations and charge 15~20€ for each. They'll milk it as much as they can, but i'm having fun with just one, and if I buy the rest it will be in a cheap sale in the future.

Anywhere to download the full game? The patcher constantly freezes on me and when it freezes in the middle of a file it starts over once run it again.

well what error you get? i had some time ago an error, could log in most gfwl games, was something related to my network card or connection

it says I'm not conected to internet... but even when i log on xbox live acc in browser it tells the same.. i've also turned off firewall just to test it but got the same result..
