Quote: | An issue was found that caused some users to be unable to start the game on specific machines. Specifically, the presence of older ATI/AMD drivers, also on machines with NVidia hardware, would cause the game to crash on startup. This patch is a hot-fix for that particular issue. On top of this, it also increases the number of save-slots from 20, like on the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, to 99.
Square-Enix, Eidos Montreal and Nixxes are committed to supporting this title and will continue to monitor for any further issues and provide additional patches in the future if required.
We hope this will help you enjoy Deus Ex: Human Revolution! |

I get the same error if I try to pay any game on Steam with Paypal. I've been unable to use paypal in the last year. Clickandbuy has worked fine for me though.

This will happen if you're using a Paypal account that isn't inside the same country as the Steam store you're visiting |
Hmmm, nice tip, will check on that next time, thanks.

Same country. Fukin Steam. They cancelled three of my accounts 6 months ago. Mine and my Daughters and I haven't had time to fight them to get them back. I have been on since the beginning too. Anyhoo. Thanks guys. I just grabbed it from green man for 40.00 (10 less with SUNNY code)

You can request an unlock from steam. I use a Canadian CC/Canadian steam store, but I'm in Korea.
Ah crap, I can buy it through the website right now, but it's still not released in Korea, so the steam client only has it listed as a "pre-load"
I'll have to VPN unlock it or something.

They wrote on facebook that it will be released on the 26th so, my guess is that they wont be sending out the keys before then.

Wife scheduled a vacation for day after tomorrow til mid next week. I said no, not the end of August, but she went and did it.
My kid had strep throat on saturday and put a bottled juice drink he drank from in the door of the fridge.
I'm seriously thinking about going and chugging that juice drink. She will totally go without me and take the kid.
5 day weekend, Deus ex, strep throat. Fuck yeah.
