Well, I did and the hitreg was way better then in BC2.

there was noticeably less lag in alpha, still not completely smooth but a lot better than BC2

It's not about cheat protection per se. But more the annoying stuff you get extra. Punkbuster packetloss in BF, who doesn't recognize that. It has been there in every BF game. Some versions more than others.
And the BFBC2 PB lag made me hate PB way more.

If someone is cheating, switch a server. Cause there are skilled players and there are shit admins and there a cheaters and there are great admins. But half the time, calling someone a cheater and having your shit team agree with you can get wrong people banned. Even cheaters get bored after 10 minutes unless you all rage and go and snap their necks and then they continue and ruin your game just to have their fun. Deal with cheaters like you would deal with an annoying child.
The child will continue harassing you cause it sees it's working and they want to annoy you. ignore the child and the child gets bored and moves on to stabbing your with a fork. Ignore it again and it will go at with a knife, then you have the right to smack some sense into that piece of shitting garbage!

Can't remember such events in BC2. Maybe I just didn't notice them. |
That's because they happened nearly never. I know what he talks about in BF2, it was very frustrating (it also happened in BF2142), but that shit wasn't an issue in BC2.

I got that last week actually.
And I got MoH to see if the MP is still as bad as the others. I shift deleted after 30 mins.  Actually it took me more to wait for EA support to add the game to my non-US account (the code is for US store only) than play it.

I don't like the fact that servers are still being run by specific companies but it does not come as a surprise.
AFAIK there are NO servers in Sweden for example for BC2, so we have to deal with shit ping on our otherwise wonderful connections.Please correct me if I am wrong.
Fair enough if you have to "approve" a few hosting companies, but at least approve a good bunch so we have some to choose from.
I get 70-80 ping at best and while it is not that bad, I am used to playing with 10-30 in BF2 for example.
