The demo comes out on the 23rd as mentioned, 18th was the early unlock date for pre-orders, unless that above quote is that they changed the thing at which point I would see it as a pretty stupid move.

"Attention Honour Guard: Head on over to www.SpaceMarine.com/Demo and get your PC early access code for the Space Marine Demo! You need to be logged into your Honour Guard verified account to gain access to the page and have Steam installed on your system to redeem the code. http://pub.vitrue.com/445"
so just create an account to get a key, then dl the demo on steam a day early.

It's alright. A mindless slasher/shooter. I like the execute mechanic though, at least this game doesn't encourage you to hide and wait for the health to regenerate.

So uhh.. Am I missing something here? Whenever I log in to my account, it just sends me to my profile page. No key to be seen. If I go back to the demo page it asks me to login again and does it over again.

Not bad once I understood that gaining health meant using the executions. That last battle on the first mission is brilliantly frantic.

8800gt is the minimum spec, but the game seems very well optimized. Try the demo.

I get some very annoying stutter for some reason.
I also whish they used the same voices from the Dawn of War 2 games for the orks.

I don't know... while I do see that it's way better and more interesting than Gears of Boredom and I was really interested in the game since I didn't play the other Warhammer games because of what genre they are, the game simply feels weird as fuck to me. I couldn't play more than 10 minutes or so and then I uninstalled the demo. I'll try the full game when it comes out, but I really don't know, there's something that I really don't like about this game and I can't describe what it is, it has this claustrophobic feeling and it's not just the amazingly retarded camera...

The demo that was available for the last two days was for preorders only.
So brutal, and looks pretty nice (doesnt feel console port). Runs also so nicely on highest settings, not a single hitch on fps even when theres shitloads of orcs on screen.
