I'm being honest, honestly. Razz The game didn't impress the fuck out of me like I expected. At least the part that I played. It looks really solid, but I'm still searching for that Deus Ex feeling of innovation, you know?

@beyond1: What in the world gives you that idea? All of those games were just as solid as Deus Ex HR looks to be. Except DA2, which was abysmal.

Ok, I just gave up and preordered this from GameShop. I will probably have my hands on it only the next weekend, but that's ok, I'll just play the leak when it's out, until I get it.

Just completed the first Deus Ex... god damn it, give me the third one already.

By the way, I read through the plot of Deus Ex 2 on wiki, and oh my god, storywise it's such a piece of shit, they simply butchered the story of the first part. :/

I didn't get any notifications about any items or weapons for TF2 nor do I play TF2. Sorry mate.

My guess is you get them if you pre-order through Steam itself, I honestly don't know.

when I got tf2 weapons from past preorders, I don't think steam tells you. you have to log into tf2 and the items will show up when they chose to release it.

but it could have changed, someone else confirm lol.

Delurking to observe that I'm really glad at this point that I didn't give in to temptation back when the leak came out and slap down a pre-order. If I had, I'd be just as justifiably pissed as the rest of you guys at getting screwed out of content. The whole retailer/platform exclusive DLC thing is stupid, pointless and the only thing it guarantees is that you don't get to see all the content the game has available. Considering our money is as good as everyone else's, it hardly seems fair.

What works out nicely for me though in this instance is that in a few weeks I'll be going back home to England for a honeymoon with my wife, the first time I will have been home since leaving 6 years ago. A trip to Game or wherever has the AE *will* be happening Smile

Thank you sabin Smile Pretty stoked to see my family again and my wife-to-be is looking forward to it too as she's never been outside the US before. She's a little worried about the food situation though *chuckles*. I think my excitement about getting to eat a proper steak and kidney pie again (amongst other things) is making her glad that Subway et al are over there Very Happy

Seriously. The English Pork Pie Company does a good job over here of making those, but it pales in comparison to the real thing. It'll be nice to be able to go to an actual pub within walking distance of where we're staying too, as it stands right now the nearest decent one to me is 40 miles away *sighs*.
