What is the matter, Mac has not hurrd of Raid so you boss was like "That's it, install a real OS!"?
Look into dynamic volumes. It might not be available in the home versions of 7, though. Professional and up, probably.

he bought one them raid systems and it had winxp and he made me install win7
i installd the enderpise edish.
you can easily raid with a click of a butten (one butten) and raid drives toggether in macuntish.
I gotta make a 22tb raid
i can make individuals by mirroring or whatevers and have 10tb and 12tb but i can't merge them togethers cause it gets stuck at 13tb as maximums.
HALP!

You cannot span the boot volume (hurr durr C:\). You need to shrink that to the minimum, then you can span the free space with other volumes.
If you cannot shrink the boot volume enough, it probably means you have a fragmented disk and need to defrag first. Or use some Partition Paragon Manager (Server Edition for dynamic volumes!) to more intelligently shrink it (and the software will move data so that it fits in the new shrinked partition/volume). Then go again in Disk Management and span your volumes.

Be careful with spanned dynamic volumes - it may be difficult to restore if system fails (why would that happen on Windows? ).

Why not just install Windows Server and add File Server role? If you have an AD, it will be very easy, but even without.
