Played the demo and - wait for it, here comes a first one - decided to NOT download it.
Not because it's crappy but because it is awesome beyond believe.
It might take me a month or more to get some money but I don't care. I can wait for something this brilliant.

Control scheme with mouse+KB is totally fucked up. Gonna try it later with pad, but I would stay away from it if one can play only with mouse+KB.

I'm in love.
Everything is perfect. The controls, the artwork, the music, the voiceacting.
How I love indie games.

Worth every penny so far. Let's put this into perspective;
Amnesia.
A.R.E.S
Atom Zombie Smasher.
Aztaka.
Bastion.
Battle Slots.
Breath of Death VII/Cthulhu Saves the World.
Capsized.
Cogs.
DeathSpank 1+2.
Din's Curse (+EP)
Dungeons of Dredmore.
EYE.
Frozen Synapse.
Hammerfight.
Hydrophobia.
Lugaru.
Machinarium.
Magicka.
Metal Brigade Tactics.
Osmos.
Pirates of Black Cove.
Planet Stronghold.
Recettear.
Samarost 2.
Starfarer.
Starpoint Gemini.
Smugglers 4.
SPAZ.
Terraria.
Zombie Driver.
Those are the indie games I've bought this year, well most of them - the ones I can remember off-hand, and all of them were worth every penny.

@Timester
Nope, works like a charm here.
@Mister_s
No idea, nobody has finished it yet
@Spoiler regarding statues
Spoiler: |
Are you SUPPOSED to break them...? Every time the Kid breaks one, the narrator makes a comment about it. A comment that sounds like it's bad to break them...

I think you're supposed to, yes. Gives the characters a little more background.
Spoiler: | It seems to me they're not statues, but the ashes of the people themselves. |

Thanks! That's what I was thinking too... I just wanted to make sure since the narrator had such a "final" tone to his voice. Speaking of the narrator; that dude is fucking AWESOME.

The game is really nice. I love the weapon challenges. Also Machete + Shotgun own.

For what I played so far (since for some very ODD reason I can't select the new levels on the Skyway, so I'm stuck), I'm loving the game.

This game is just one of the best games this year. I really am falling in love with the indie-genre. I feel the developers have the same passion as the big companies had during the 90s. They make a game because they love it and believe in their idea, today so much are focused around being able to sell and what sells.

According to the pop-ups, the game automatically saves each time you return to the Bastion.

So that acts as a hub between missions which are Magicka-like missions in the sense that you have to finish them in order to save your progress, right?
