This game is pure art, both from graphics, story and gameplay, and should be experienced by everyone.
But, like any piece of art, it is grossly overpriced for what it provides. I finished the game in two sittings for a few hours each, and I doubt I'll sit and play it again any time soon. $15 is exaggerated, in my opinion.

You know, back in the day, a game like this would have been $50, like everything else. You should be glad that we have new distribution outlets and whatnot, that allow games like this to be available as low as $15.

Did you get all the stars? I doubt it.

You right, I haven't collected all the stars. I am not a collector player, meaning I usually don't have an interest in replaying games for the sake of achievements or stats. But after you mentioned the stars (and me suspecting what those were in the sky on the street), I went to YouTube. Since collecting them actually reveals the real ending, I might try to collect them after all.

Well, the star system is really not done well, in my opinion. If I was designing the game's levels, I would have made one star really easy to find (like some seriously easy double jump), visible to the player. Then I (the player) would know I have to search for those. But as it is now, I wouldn't have even tried to look for them if you haven't mentioned them. This is how most of the Mario/Wario World games usually teased about the super secret stuff.

Finished it last night and loved it (although I did need a faq for one of the puzzles), but the star system is stupid, especially Spoiler: | the star that is hidden in the main house and can't be obtained after you assambled the picture of world 3. In world 2 you actually need to assamble part of the picture ASAP so you can use it as a plattform to get the two last pieces, but in the next level assambling the collected pieces makes the game unfinishable?!?!? Very bad game design IMO. I understand it was intended that way but forcing people to restart the game from beginning is too much especially since the game has no replay value (other than showing to your friends). |

Awesome game. Just one question: Do you have to come back with a special ability obtained later to get some pieces, or are u able to get them anytime you see it?

yes and no.
you don't have to come back with a special ability, but you won't be able to get a few of the puzzle pieces from the beginning until a bit later.

Spoiler: | That's down to interpretation, personally I think both the princess and the bomb are just allegorical representations of the same thing; obsession. |

Ok, I began playing this game, just a question: do you need to backtrack when you have more powers/abilities to solve some of the puzles, or is it just that I'm too dumb to see the solution? Some of them, I really can't figure out, even in the first worlds...

No new abilities, there are two pieces in one section of the first world that can only be reached after you collected some other pieces in that world. Apart from that all can be obtained instantly.
