what i really dont dig is those terribly childish hero icons, i love pudge/devourer but god that icon looks so silly, and if thats actual dota graphics in trailer, thats almost same as in those icons.. really not digging that art style of faces

I'm looking forward to seeing the actual gameplay finally. Since Valve announced the $1.5 million prize and then LoL announced a $5 million season 2 purse, it's obvious that the e-sports part of these games is making a big step forward. It may not be at SC2 level, but as much as I love SC2, I haven't played it in forever since I really got in to LoL. Maybe it's because the same amount of micro is not needed overall and focusing on one champ is easier, but these games require a lot of skill and are very competitive. Wish I was better at them haha. Damn, getting older and not having the same reflexes I had at 20 sucks.

that heroes list is far too small , and what does that mic icon means in schedule? casted game? are you meaning to say just 4 casted games out of 24 games? that will be played tomorrow? that cant be right at all.. considering how big of a deal they made this to be..

you can't cast all those game without spreading them out so they don't overlap which would make the event take too long.
it's just the group phase anyway, the important matches after that are all cast.

For the early phases all of them will be livestreamed and recorded, but only a few of them will have a commentator methinks.

Exactly. I guess commented matches will be determined by the broadcaster, but it has already been said that you will be able to watch all matches as you wish, you control it 
By the way.. I've been wondering, since you seem as interrested as I am in DotA2, where do you play DotA ? It could be nice to play one or two games

That hero list, while being incomplete and a little small too, I agree, contains about every competitive hero used lately.. Some counters will be missing, but that's a beta for you

It's still in beta so it is understandable that not all heroes are playable right now. Judging by the screen about half the heroes will be selectable. Not that bad.

Yeah sorry for being extremely vague...but this post really baffled me. Does that mean it's identical to dota1 gameplay wise or just character abilities etc...cause they are supposed to present something "re-designed" i thought
