If that makes any difference - I've received my key on Friday, the same day that I go for a little w/end vacation... and monday when I saw that mail, the alpha was over. So?
This early access is the 48h early access to the open beta - or does that mean that if I pre-order (that's where the link is redirecting me) will be eligible for closed-beta?

If you preorder from origin you'll access to beta 48 hours before everyone who doesn't preorder or buy MOH.

Great, that means a lot of feedback from CoD players will be taken into consideration.
Expect even more derped down gameplay in Bad Company 3!
^I looked at those numbers and all i could think is similarity between these numbers and pc vs consoles figures.
But i guess there are people who like very streamlined games and those who like open ended,
however Activision has always spend more on marketing so it might be because of that.
Naaahhh it's ok, we non-alpha testers know about the changes suggested and being worked on thanks to massive NDA breaking in the official forums
But seriously the main complains being:
1. Lack of recoil in some weapons (being tweaked by demize).
2. 3d spotting still working like a wallhack (being nerfed, not removed).
3. Drop shooting, now it's being made impossible cause you won't be able to shoot while going to prone and the moment you can shoot again it will be innacurate for a second or two. (demize's twitter again).
4. Some smgs (mp7) being used for sniping with burst-fire now being made more innacurate in the distance.
5. Minor bugs or realism features like which side of the gun do the shell casings drop, etc. (and again...).
I will add others when I recall them.
So it's all for the better after the alpha. I really can't wait for the beta.

It's not really clear to me, I had an alpha invite, but not recived the You have beta access mail, and I also preorder MOH-LE and still no news.
IIRC the MOH preorders, BF3 preorders, and alphatester will access to beta 48hs earlier than everyone.

Actually, it's pretty clear by now. Alpha testers won't get priority or early access. It's basically this:
1. 48h early access for Origin pre-orders + MOH Tier 1 Edition buyers.

but he just said that alpha testers will have priority , the only explanation that come to my mind is that the beta won't be really open but will have keys sent out to email accounts and such

EDIT: nvm I see you're referring to the e-mail sent to alpha testers. Well, taking that into account I agree with Argie that now it isn't clear and we'll have to wait for some new official announcement.
