@consolitis

I notice you use a broken quote to fix the others. You don't have to! Simply type something AFTER the last quote and it won't be broken. Anything will do =)

I'm probably the less excited guy around here. Sure, I want to play it, but I simply don't care that much about that as I cared for other games. I was way more excited for playing Gothic 3 when I got this PC because I couldn't run it on the old PC and the Gothic games have been my favourite games since I first played them. It was the same case with the first The Witcher game, which at the time I didn't know much about, but my uncle kept telling me that it's a very good game. Now, The Witcher is right there with the Gothic games for me. I honestly wasn't expecting that when I first played it, never though that I would like a game as much as I like the Gothic games. I think this has more to do with the fact that I love medieval-fantasy stuff to death and sci-fi or other settings will always be below that for me, no matter how good they are. Truth be told there are times when I'm in love with sci-fi stuff, more than usual I mean and maybe if it was one of those times I would have been way more excited for this.

You don't have to worry about bigger inventory, you can upgrade skills to get a larger inventory. Wink I did it in the leaked version. It was very useful after two upgrades. I think it was some strength upgrade.

I doubt I will have any problems with the inventory, I've got very good at inventory managing in games Very Happy Even in Witcher 2, for which I noticed many people were complaining and using/recommending inventory mods, I played the whole game in Hard without any mods just fine Smile

Our animation rates range from $400 per minute to $1800 per minute and depend on the complexity of the character.

Personally I thought the entire game was/is spectacular. The inventory, the progression, the augmentations. God.... this is going to be the longest three weeks of my life! I've bought and paid for my copy of the game, so I hope it leaks grinhurt

Final Fantasy VI. That was the last time I was THIS excited for an upcoming game..... and that was back in '94. I got close to that level of eagerness with FFVIII, SW-KoTOR2 and Phantasy Star Online though.

Well, I guess the first trailer I saw for Mass Effect came close to this, the facial animations were SWEET.

And probably the first time I played KoTOR 1, the amount of RPG goodiness that was thrown at me made me moist.

I'm also 21 so I played other great games a few years later after they came out.

I was very, very hyped for Mafia 2, back when it was supposed to be awesome. Sad

It still is a very good game IMO, but a lot was cut and never released after.

Still, I can't wait for my Augmented Edition to arrive. Very Happy

When this game first burst out on the scene. I just thought it would be another disaster of a restart of a great IP. Then I saw Square-Enix and thought even worse about it.

But as the time went on I slowly more interested about it, and after playing just 10 min of the pre-release I was hooked. I never looked forward to a game this much. Maybe back in the snes-days or something, but not in the last 10 years.

What I find amazing about this game is, the fighting action can actually be enjoyable, and not the clunky, lame, unreal-esque mess of DX1. Something I didn't pick up in reviews ten years ago, for some reason.

Beautiful read, thanks Consolitis.

I was honestly hyperventilating when he said that it's the Deus Ex of our age, I am in love with this game.

Thanks consolitis! Really want to play this, but I'm afraid my pc will melt, and I'm not planning to upgrade until Diablo 3 is released. I could buy it for the PS3, but then again, naaah, I want mouse+keyb for this one.
