You know, some troll(/moron) actually posted on the dragon age wiki accusing bioware of terrorism.

They had it coming, that's what you get when you partner with ea and release gay, commercial games.

I stand corrected. BioWare released another mediocre turd. May they burn in hell for eternity for killing off the DA franchise. The KOTOR mmo and Mass Effect 3 isn't automatic buys for me any longer. BioWare has started their decline and I'm not buying their games simply because BioWare made it. Any more.

Nazi's should come from the future then, and terrorize the country side?

I know most of you don't see any reason to play this DLC, but I could like it since I completed the normal game. Few questions if you know the answers:
-I obviously deleted my game with savegame, can I still play the DLC with a new character?
-How long is it? (edit : 3-4h)
-Does it contain good story plot and real cinematics and dialogues like the original game or only repetitive combats with barely no events?

I beat it in about 2 hours.

I'ts DA2 after all, but the environments are more open and more detailed. There's plenty of new dialog. Combat is much more varied, and there's plenty of new enemies and a couple of minibosses and he last boss is a bitch. I kinda liked DA2 but hated the dumbed down action and the reused environments. I think Legacy is a step in the right direction, but i won't hold my breath for DA3.

-You can play it at any point with any character.
-2.5-3h, if not rushed
-Story is ok, dialogue and party banter are actually good
All in all better than main game, worth playing.

Look interesting, but "any point with any character" probably don't include a fresh "new game" start? Will have problems with killing the enemies. I can probably grab a savegame somewhere.

You can play it at ANY time after you've got to Kirkwall. Once you're in the city and are staying at your uncle's house, or your own mansion, you can access Legacy.

Does anyone know where to find it "deda2drmV2.zip"? Or is there now a way to get the 2 DLCs (exiled prince and black emporium) working without it?
I'm trying to play Legacy with my old savegames, but it wont let me do that.
I did a fresh installation with patch 1.03, Legacy, exiled prince and black emporium and would like to play Legacy with those savegames.

Quote: | Reader, Gavin points us towards an interesting discussion unfolding on the Bioware forums, where lead designer Mike Laidlaw, has been talking to fans about the most controversial changes made to the Dragon Age: Origins formula for Dragon Age 2, saying “I’ve said it before, and I will say it again: we stripped some stuff out of DA because it was busted”
“If I’m going to piss you guys off, it’s going to be because I still firmly believe that RPGs do need to be more accessible to new players,” Laidlaw adds. “Not diminished, but made less imposing and less terrifying to new players. In part because I want more people to play Dragon Age, and in part because there have been a lot of improvements in gameplay and UI design in the past 15 years, and we can learn from them.”
At the same time, Laidlaw says that Bioware are listening carefully to fan feedback to Dragon Age 2. He points toward the recently released DLC pack, Legacy as an indication that the developers have been acting on some of the most controversial aspects of the sequel, including the use of repeated areas, respawning waves of enemies and the customisation of party followers. |

It's sad to see the shallow husk a once-great company has become

No, it's because you're a bunch of greedy and selfish bastards who know the Call of Derpy fratboys aren't interested in "RPGs" due to some misconceived notion about pimply nerds in basements - but you desperately want a huge slice of that teenage demographic. Answer? Strip out the RPG elements, add tits and blood, call it "ACTION!" and bingo... new audience at the expense of the old one. But it's ok, right? After all, 4 million derps are more than 2 million RPG fans.
Bastards. There was a time when the BioWare name commanded respect

Reallllllllllllly? That's why this was fixed with an EIGHT FUCKING KILOBYTE modification? God, I'm with you DR ... I'm really starting to dislike this man.

I have a secret hope that some awesome indie developer will come along on steam and release a sweet RPG. SWTOR is most likely the last Bioware game I will ever buy if they carry on the way they are.

Reinstalled the game, updated to 1.03, installed Legacy found a 100% savegame online, started the game, walked to the statue to start Legacy, watched the quick introduction cutscene and BANG crash to desktop?!?
