Review. A well-deserved score. |
if they didn't copy-paste the xbox review it would mean something
also, what's the 'bonus stuff' ?

I found a secret level beyond the "Alone in the dark" achievement maybe that's the one.
It gives the DING secret achievement but i gotta tell ya that level sucks hard.

The two reviews (console-PC) are exactly the same, typical Gamespot thrash

The ending was a bit strange but I like it as it is. Amazing game, indeed.

Depends on the ending perhaps, I don't remember what I read about the X360 version but you do gather these small "orb" things for something.
(Go left instead of right at the beginning to see one that is really obvious - there's a achievement for this even on Steam I think, wrong way or what it's called - of these weird whatever they are collectible objects, I have three now but I very likely missed a few.)
EDIT: I could be wrong or mix it with another game but from what I remember.
Spoiler: |
Was no the true ending / last chapter sort of "hidden" until you collected all of these objects?
|
I could be wrong though, should probably look that up.
EDIT: Nope that does not seem to be required.
http://www.gamefaqs.com/xbox360/991005-limbo/faqs/60528
EDIT: That seems to be more correct and but a minor bonus to completion rate.
Spoiler: |

Chapter 24 Secret Hidden Egg
******************************************************
This egg is only obtainable if you have completed the game with 0 deaths.
Once you shatter through the glass, head all the way to the left. Then head
right. As you head right, you will see an egg drop to the ground.
|
(111% completion after finding all these.)

Rip has been released.
Limbo.RIP-Unleashed - 69.77MB
LIMBO.v1.0r4.multi9.cracked-THETA was 70.64MB. Behold the power of epic ripping!!

1 and 2 are still amazing.

The music is 50 MB, why wasn't that ripped?
(Or whatever those sound files do.)

Just finished it, quite short but definitely well-made. The puzzles are logical and not too complicated, and the constant ambient noises, original style and dark/noir atmosphere make it incredibly unique.

Is DirectX up to date then?
(As D3DCompiler_43.dll is a key component of it, redist doesn't replace existing files but adds these numbered ones along with the original .dll files for added functionality.)

(Should still be the latest.)

Can you post the complete error message then? Seems there's more to it than I thought.
(Weird problem, did you try to re-install DirectX, this shouldn't really be possible to get damaged or altered but it might still be worth a try.)
