what are some good css 1 vs 1 maps? and I'm not talking about these maps like fy_ice or fy_pool but a good tactical map.
any advise?

I remember that de_dust/de_dust2 weren't that bad even 1vs.1, but I've never been a "pro" at CSS

cmon...playing 1vs1 on big maps is boring and stupid, imo.
stick to the smaller maps, because you don't need tactics 1on1 - the only thing that matters here is your aim. |

I'v downloaded through multiple map packs already and all the maps look very shitty, unimpressive, boring and lazy. I must say cs had hell of a alot better custom maps. I'll try fy_simpsons, thanks.
EDIT: macdonalds is the kind of map that I am talking about (small and tactical).

no not really, it's hidden in some dark places... it's inside the 1vs1_challange_mappack_v3-FHITB
you have to push real hard to get to it.

The best 1 on 1 cs map ever is cs_cock. We played on it to train our aiming, strafing and stuff. Dunno if that map was ported to cs source though.
