I agree. I didnt like it much either. All these WW2 and Vietnam games seem to get so much praise.

Is it the games that are getting bad or are we just fed up with em'?
I don't know.. Since internet and downloadmania, I'm too critical. I know a lot of you are over-the-top-critical. Sometimes I can't enjoy the top titles, they're still good games, but I just don't enjoy them. Bottom Line: BLAME YOURSELF, games are getting better and better, no doubt. (Sorry bad spelling)

Lack of PC games cause of the console market...plus too many PC games are multiplatformed with consoles, and get "dumbed down"...so yeah games are getting bad.
Theres always good games though, just not as many.
Its definitly not because we cant improve graphics much more or need a new "type" of gaming, or more interaction from the games. We could easily get 20 more years of gaming just as its going right now, its just in a sad state at the moment because of everyone going to consoles, and big companies like EA taking over.

why? - Console.
Elder Scrolls IV will be a good game because they make it for PC and then port it over, not the other way around.
O yes, i have a console myself i like the games on it but they are so limited by the console itself. For PC i expect more because i know they can push it to the max. Its well known that PC gamers expect more from their games.
This also explains the bashing PC gamers make on console ports, because you can see good games and see the potential they would have had if the priority was the development for the PC. (deus ex 2, fable etc etc).
And piracy wise, to keep it in the spirit of this forum. It doesnt matter anymore console games are easily pirated and distributed nowdays its PC games groups have troubles with.
Most console peeps i know have a console because they dont want to bother installing games & hoping it will work and offcourse you have the group who just likes to game and dont care if the game is console/pc as long as its good.
