4/ “Is my feedback read by the team? How will M&M team deal with it”?
Your feedback is very valuable for us, and we would like to thank you for all your comments.
We noticed some issues remain important for you.
Important changes like the town screens and user interface were already notified by our VIP fans during the “technical beta” phase.
These features are on our “improve” list, but they’re not the only priorities and they would take a lot of time of development.
The development team at Black Hole and Ubisoft are working hard to be able to offer you the best possible Heroes experience at the time of release.
However, we must inform you that it will be hardly feasible to change the user interface (including the town screens) for the release.
That being said, we’d like you to keep in mind that we won’t stop improving the game beyond September 8th. We’ll continue to update and improve Heroes VI after the release date.
i just saw the biscuit's beta preview and dear god the town screen is horrible indeed, im glad they will change that crap..
Aside that.. it looks nice, i like the skill system revamp, tho ill miss the magic guilds :}
The hero creation looks interesting as well.. hope it wont require a sign in to the online crap xD
Doesn't devs always say that they will keep improving their games after release yet we usually see 2-3 patches and then they go silent leaving the game to rot with its bug and absence of promised features.
But for the publishers the word "After release" is indeed a lovely love, I mean why should they care about the players when they have already paid for the game
It's Ubisoft, so almost guaranteed to require ORB and constant internet connection.
UbiDRM is here well disguised as this Confux thing which is not offline accesible.
in Conflux are Skype, MP stats (Hotseat probably too ), Dynasty system -> dynasty with unique hero, dynasty weapons, dynasty traits and special dynasty leveling system
Herr Derr! I usually don't like using this, but I'm afraid you've earned it good and proper;
So again, like I said the first time; saves are stored online and - as such - require an account and a permanent net connection. Thank you for confirming what I said and, for some hilarious reason, trying to correct me on it with the same information I already stated

With the beta I can save just fine off-line, unless you mean only the dynasty system and not actual save games.
Yes, I also meant character progression and personalisation - but for the record, I am also talking about full game saves. Ubisoft have this pathetic habit of trying to force cloud-saving onto everyone.
Besides; the beta was cracked - so I wouldn't completely trust the mechanisms of that to be the same in the full retail.

and use switch /disableorbit in order to run game.
So you can run game in offline mode with this switch. Then saves will be stored locally.
English is not my native language but I said before - retail will run without any online activation. You need serial and online connection for Orb/Confux (something like battle.net)

So people who didn't get a beta key, or didn't pre-order HoMM6 can play the beta anyhow? Awesome

Ok, I understand - thank you. It's still a very shitty thing of Ubisoft to do, locking you out of character progression/unlocks unless you're constantly connected to the net.
Just as a small note I found the internal beta was rather different from this latest version linked to above (And it's 1.02 update here http://static2.cdn.ubi.com/patches/HOMM6/homm6_public_closed_beta_1.02.exe ) so those judging the game by that might want to uninstall it and test this version.
During the first phase of the Beta you were very active and provided us with very valuable feedback: your suggestions about general balance, factions balance and bug reports were very useful to us. Thank you!
Thus, we took the decision to delay the release of Might & Magic Heroes VI in order to secure a bit more time for the dev team to take into account your comments and deliver the best quality game.
Might & Magic Heroes VI will be released on October 13th.
The Beta will reopen on August 16th. All fans who preordered the game via a regular retailer or won a key in a community contest will be able to play. During this second phase of the Beta more maps (solo and multi) and features will be available. We will keep you informed about it in our further news.
Same happened to Settlers 7 which was also delayed after community beta feedback, (EDIT: As with that game - Settlers 7.) at least this time there's a reason for it.
(Though I think Settlers 7 and Heroes 5 amongst others have mostly just Ubisoft as the publisher.)
Signature/Avatar nuking: none (can be changed in your profile)
