Bah, they don't show it in 2D here... Well, I won't see it in the cinema then. I just don't like watching movies in 3D, it distracts me from the movie and somehow makes it hard for me to focus on the movie itself, rather then on the 3D effects...

Effects or not, paying for 3D is a waste of money. Done it 3-4 times, only once was is better than adequate.

I've seen Avatar, Shrek3D and Tr0n in 3D, all of which you could say are eye-candy only. And I liked every single one much better when watching it in 2D afterwards again.

Got to say i didnt enjoy Avatar at all in the cinema (saw it in 2D), watching it again in 3D on my TV was incredible much better, how the leaves of plants and whatnot "touch" my face as the camera moves forward, heights gets a new meaning, really nice effect and imo not distracting, just so much more immersive. I think 3D really adds to the experience. I might grow tired of it though, don't know yet Very Happy

I've never seen a 3D movie in the cinema though, maybe it's different? My friend thought the effect was better on my TV, but he's not exactly a "tech" person.

Jesus Mary Mother of GOD this movie sucks ass! There are only two good things in the movie: the chick and Ken Jeong (Seriously LOLed when he was on). The story and characters were meh, as expected. I wasn't impressed by the 3D at all, and not by the CG overall either.

It seemed good in the beginning but I was just waiting to get home throughout the whole second half.

Hmmm maybe we're overreacting a bit guys.
Who knows, the moon transformer might be so badass that he has the power to send his minions through time/dimensions, and now the baddies are re-writing what happened in every other POS that Bay directed.

Personally, can't wait to see the Bad Boys 2 part! lol wut

It's called stock footage, it's done all the time in movies. It's the same with sound fx, 3d models, fonts etc, the same ones can appear in hundreds of movies (or games).. stock footage like that is used more rarely than for example a certain soundfx though, soundfx or a car 3d model is harder to spot too, obviously.

with games some companies buys for example models from contractors, and sometimes the contractors don't give them exclusive rights to it, its the same for movies.

TF sucks imo, mostly because of Shia LaBeouf, that person just reeks of complete douchebagness.

OK,

So I went to see this last night in IMAX 3D..... god fucking damn....

Probably some of the best special effects I have ever seen in my life, the 3D effect was pretty outstanding. Story was meh.

If you are a fan of 3d movies, this is the one to see.

My only gripe with transformer movies, is that sometimes there are too many moving parts, and I can't figure out who is who and wtf is going on.

After they got rid of Megan Fox they should have dumped Shia LaDouche as well.

All that fucker does is run around, yell, make the exact same face and act awkward.

Seems like the perfect movie for people with extremely short attention spans, ie. need something cool to happen on the screen all the time. When effects makes the movie, you know it's a bad one, at least as far as script is concerned.
