I can't understand why everone are so positive.

I think Ep 3 looks like a new "attack of the clones" lots of CGI toys for the children!

Anakin (Hayden Christensen) tries to look evil but fails miserably.
He simply looks like a guy from a boy band trying his best to look dark and evil,
makes me laugh!

well that's because Lucas cannot direct at all... Hayden is a 'decent' actor. Shattered Glass \ Life as a House Very Happy He just acts like shit like every other actor in an s/w movie directed by Lucas. Lucas has no imagination at all. CGI doesn't add to the acting. And since Lucas can't make them act well he throws in a tonne of cgi to compensate Crying or Very sad

Well, I agree

Lucas directing really seems to make the actors worse.

Maybe he doesn't allow any improvising from the actors?

Episode II wasn't as bad as I, Still have to see Episode 6... Sad

Starwars is a tough act to follow, people will always criticise if it is kept like episode IV with the classic hero does good story line, or goes the way of buffy and becomes darker with a sense of humour (which would be my favourite Razz)

I think they need to let some new writers at the script for the tv series and make it more like some of the better programs like charmed etc.

Yeah i've played the game so i've already seen all that but it does give you basically the whole story without the action scenes.

What I think is lame is that mace windu beats palpatine, seeing as how he's the emperor and all.

What I dislike about this latest film is how badly the dark side gets owned.

I mean, Palpatine is the most powerful dark user ever and he gets his ass handed to him by poncy Mace Windu. Granted he doesn't have his lightsaber, but that shouldn't matter when he's that powerful. Then Anakin gets owned by Obi-Wan. Makes you wonder, they always go on about how powerful the darkside is, yet they're pretty weak really.

Then the thing is, Anakin kills Mace Windu, but then gets beaten by Obi-Wan. Yet I thought Windu was the most skilled jedi with a lightsaber in the order?

2 was horrible; literally

And I've seen adverts for the 3rd and the cgi, though much more impressive, still looks tediously fake.

Still I'll end up lining up for this movie Crying or Very sad

I just hope this is the last movie from George Lucas.

Or the last movie he'll direct.
Or the last series he'll write.
Or the last picture with his name on it.

Or the next movie he’ll make will be entirely in cgi Very Happy

original was his wasn't BAD but it wasn't GOOD
