Then find a very populated server or clan/tournament going on.There are many of them.Your not going to find a heck of a lot on the free software and I am sure its missing a ton of content.I wouldn't judge Arma based on the free version.

I've purchased the Arma II + Arrowhead expansion since there was a 50% off on Steam. So I've been playing that. I can host a server for that too though, but that requires you humpers to join me in my purchase.
Well, on steam it says that the promotion for ARMA2 is ending in 21 hours. So that leaves me plenty of time to put some money on my account and buy the sucker.
I bought ARMA1 GOLD a while back, so might as well buy this one too. It probably won't go that much lower than 20E together anyways.

You still can host Arma 2 server, where free players should be able to join aswell... untill you wont launch it CO (combined operations). I have All Arma2 products so make as you want
