Interesting, I didn't know there was a working 1.0.1.0 cracked .exe 
edit: found it, I'm going to try it and see what happens (actually I have to reinstall the game since I messed up with some mods) |

I found it few days ago.Today test it and there is huge differences-no lag anymore of xbox pad,fps is increased,handling is better.Too bad that with this crack doesnt work Limited edition stuff unlocks through hex editing-strings are missing.I check original 1.1 file and there are in it.This chinese guy use for cracking some strange exe...So again will wait for normal crack.

^^ my limited edition unlocks work on my end... strange. Did you ever figure out your Fallout Vegas issue btw? with the .ini file?

But you have original shift2 right?I am talking for unlock of LE content of pirated game.For LE events it needs to hex edit some strings in the exe.This strings are in crack 1.0 and in original 1.1 but missing from chinese 1.1 crack.I already beat the career and only LE were left,and i canot play them now with 1.1 version.LE cars can be unlocked from other file but events are only possible to unlock throught EXE and that cracked one is different.From other side there are good things improved in 1.1 version(lag,fps) and i wont play 1.0...
I hope when new patch is out and DLC(lets hope for pc release) there will be scene release.I stil cant understand why there is no scene release of 1.1 patch...
About fallout-i wrote in thread-i find last update 6 from skidrow,which work normal with english launcher and no .ini error and download only DLC files.

The Chinese .exe works just fine, not a big difference in handling if compared to Shift 2 1.0 + Jul's mod though (which already eliminated the lag). The performance is pretty much the same, which is still quite bad.

I dont use Jul's mod but comared to default there is big differences for me.Maybe game is more arcade and easy now(just like with Juls mod) but its better.And controller lag is gone.I played 3 hours tonight to test it.Same for fps-there is significant improvement.
I use one trick to improve fps that works great at least for me.In config file set everything to 3.SOme values default is only 2 and setting it to 3 make game ro run with more fps.

shadows are only on low because my gpu is weak...dont worry setting things to 3 doesnt stop some effects.Graphics is still the same.
Of course there is still a lot of stuttering sometimes ,especially on some tracks but lets hope to fix this in future patches or with new drivers.

Finally played with cracked 1.01- dont know if it's the patch or the new 11.5 drivers but the game runs much better now.

Anyone still playing this game??? I managed to get the rld release on 1.01 with the cracked 1.01 exe floating about. game runs nicely... Looks fun but the helmet cam made me vomit all over my g27 lol.
I'm running 900 degrees in logitech profiler, not sure if the game actually uses all that properly. Wondering if anyone actually bought this and play online or if they just do the single player races...

Legends from the official forums tell that the PC Patch #2 passed validation at EA but it hasn't been placed it in the downloads yet. I guess it will be available together with the DLC pack |

I agree, some cars don't feel that good (especially the slower classes, which are a bit unresponsive), but the average handling quality is great even if played with the derpy 360 controller..especially after the first patch. |
