ok, so i downloaded vstrip to rip a flight of the phoenix DVD ( 8 GB )
after i followed the instruction on doom9 website on how to do that, i got the new VOB files in my hard drive,, but when i play them in Zplayer or Power DVD 6 Deluxe,, MP9 ,, i get this

why is it showing this ?? i dont see the video,, no audio,, just this weird thingy..
1 other thing, i want to rip the whole DVD, 8 GB, but vstrip will only rip big VOB files,, but i want to rip everything in the DVD including the menu.
i'm kinda new to ripping & stuff,, if i just rip VOB files, would it show the menu after i burn those VOB files into a DVD ?
any input would be appreciated.

that allmost looks as if the files are still encrypted. btw, a good dvd ripper (possibly the best) is DvdDecrypterhttp://www.dvddecrypter.com/. and as for burning those files on a dvd, yeah it will show menu's but you will have to compress the video with DVDShrinkwww.afterdawn.com/software/ video_software/dvd_rippers/dvd_shrink.cfm, unless you have a dvd9 burner. anyways hope i helped.

thnx for input ToCs. i managed to figure out how to deal with this DVD, since it's my first experince,, i went back to doom9 & found out the right way to do it..
i'm not gonna burn it on a dual layer dvd since i dont have the media for it although my burner can handle it, NEC 3520A
but by using DVDFab i managed to split the movie into 2 dvd's and they play just fine now ^__^
thnx for ur input bud..
