I was looking through a lot of their games and they're really trying to undercut steam Smile

Trine on Steam is like 15 bucks, only 5 on GMG

http://www.greenmangaming.com/games/puzzle/world-of-goo/

World of Goo 5 bucks on GMG, 10 bucks on Steam

Some pretty good titles in their bargain bin

Yeah, I say they're doing a good job. They have really good offers from time to time.

Yeah. Their only minus is pretty limited game collection.

I bough Trine for sth like 2.5$ on Steam on some sale, World of Goo was part of the fist HIB and I'm sure it was also lower than 5$ on some sale on Steam.

Bought a few games from GMG when they were the at lowest price seen anywhere up till that point and they definitely beat some Steam prices. As a matter of fact - when GMG first started World of Goo was 1p (probably 1c in US) cos I bought it and later traded it back in for a couple of quid Smile

Nobody has the "best" deals unless you mean overall? Cos like I said the deals I got from GMG were actually the best I'd seen on those particular titles... they don't have a lot but they actually ran out of keys for CIV5, for example, cos they offered it way cheaper than Steam and everywhere else - even when Steam was running a sale at the same time.

Anyone else used a VPN to create a couple of accounts at GMG?
I have my regular account, plus a UK one and a US one.

As far as I can understand, I no longer need to use the VPN, since even if I login from my normal IP the prices match the "region" of that particular account. I haven't bought anything to try it out though, so my question is if anyone in here has done this.

Also, I won't get in trouble with them if I register stuff bought on different accounts to the same steam account or...?

I did have a US one but I get UK prices and that's maybe cos I referred it from my UK one. If I want another one I'll just forgo the referrer and make a new one. However, I prefer Russian prices these days and I don't think I'm gonna be using GMG as much as I have done unless I wanna score a few quid here and there on referrals and small purchases around a fiver.

Edit - yeah you can use different accounts for your Steam keys - they wouldn't know - they just send the keys out.

i have two accounts there. EU (normal) and US (via vpn only at register)
i referred myself when i created the US account and bought dead island. both accounts got 5$ credit. i have 65 hours of playtime in dead island and all is working fine. only downside is that i didn't get the ripper dlc as pre-order bonus like it first was advertised.

Thanks for the answers guys... completely forgot about the referrals. Sad

And unfortunately I can't understand russian... but ~15-18€ for a key to a newly released game would be great.
