I wasn't sure where to put this so I just went with the general chatter section Razz

Anyway. So i'm sick of buying crappy in ear headphones and i'm wondering if you people have any opinion on which ones that are good. I'm really open to all suggestions but I obviously want to keep the price reasonable. The importance is longevity, the usual in ear headphones i buy stop working after 2-3 months, or usually it's one of the earpieces that stop working which is very frustrating.

So yeah, if you have any tips just write. I really appreciate the help!

Thanks.

beats (too expensive and shit but last long)
shures (cool)
skull candy (i love)

Skull candy should last you 3-4 months
beats... no idea never owned a pair of shitty overpriced headphones Cool Face
shures should last you 3-4 months

any headphones you buy should last you as long as you take care of them. if you abuse them play volume at a max... well then you need to see a doctor and get your hearing checked.

Sennheiser CX-200 are good for the price. Don't expect amazing quality, but you get a very good quality for the price. Also notice that CX-200 are better than the CX-300 (I have both), so choose wisely.

get a pair with an L-shaped plug, I go through a couple pairs a year and one thing that always kills them is using a straight plug which can break some of the wires after shoving it in your pocket over a period of time.

I had a pair of Shure SE310. The cable around the ear broke after one year, but I got them replaced for free due to the two year warranty Shure offers. Overall, I got two and a half years of mileage before they were broken and out of warranty.

skullcandy has a lifetime warranty here in north america, a good thing too because they always break on me (takes about 2 months to get the replacements)

skullcandy is trash IMO. At least the ones I've tried.

Im happy with the Zune 2 HD headphones that i run on my ipod.. got them on amazon marketplace for 12 bucks or so. I think normally they're about $50. So far they're still great after about a year.

I've heard good things a bout Klipsch too.

my current ones: Denon AH-C560R

iphone compatible remote and damn nice sound quality, especially if you're into electronic music, only downside are the kinda hard cables which are kinda annoying and may lead to wire breaks
