About that:

Quote:
It’s already the last question, ‘Do you want to do anything about censorship and things like age-verification for countries that require it or want it like Germany or Australia’.

Newell: Are you saying will we be adding age verifications to address some countries concerns about censorship so that people who are above a certain age can then have access to unmodified content?

Backstepper: For example, yes.

Newell: Yeah, that would be a fine thing to add. We’ve got Torsten is like a huge fan of that internally and has been pushing to get that done. Torsten is persuasive and effective so I’m sure sooner or later we’ll get that out on Steam, and certainly our view as a content company is that there should be no restrictions on content. Of course that’s a pretty self-serving view; anything we can do to help our customers get access to the content they want, we’re going to figure out how to do.

The game is made to be played coop or versus. So if you plan to only play with bots, don't bother.

On anything above normal or easy? No. The game is the same exact thing on MP and it is SP, except you play with horribly retarded AI.

Valve and their infinite wisdom decided to cut out the in between chapter stories and so forth so you never get a real grasp on what's going on unless you really read into it online or just try filling in the gaps yourself.

That was in L4D1 where they cut cutscenes and stuff they had in between. In L4D2 you get the idea of what's going on.

@murgo: It should, yes. Being in Luxembourg, I have access to the general EU store, which means I often have games available which aren't listed for Germans. I already gifted a German buddy some games (i.e. GTA SA) and he was able to play it just fine.

When they had Dead Rising 2 and Resident Evil 4 on sale some time ago, DR2 wasn't available for me either for some reason, but my US girlfriend gifted it to me and now it's sitting happily in my Library. Wink

Am I actually the only living person on earth who doesn't like AaAaAA!!!?
I find that game to be one of the most uniteresting and boring games I've ever played.

Anyway I think I'm gonna grab 'em both anyway.
The first for Capsized and Machinarium
and the second one actually only for Starscape but the pack is cheaper than the game itself so why wouldn't it? Very Happy

They've got the whole page; Overlord, Overlord: Raising Hell, Overlord II .. for €5! Shocked

I tried the first one and saw potential in it, but it ran at ~20fps on the shitty PC I had at that time so I lost interest in it. Never tried the second one.
...and I'm a sucker for the art style and humor of Dungeon Keeper. Damn, Steam can make me weak at times Laughing

Steam-activatable Magicka £2.78 at GMG, along with new DLC which doesn't appear to be on offer.

http://www.greenmangaming.com/promp/magicka-new/

And they have the standard edition of Deus Ex:HR for £30. More expensive than Amazon, but if you've got games to trade... Very Happy
