Right click the shortcut. Press properties. That will open a new window. On that click find target. That will open a new window to the location of the original exe.
Put the cracked exe into the folder thats just opened.
Run game after the original has been copied over by the cracked file

Just think of it this way. All you have to do is copy a file from one folder to another. It really is that easy.
